I absolutely loved Valley Village Resort. It’s one of those places so beautiful and peaceful that you almost forget there’s an island to explore! What truly makes this resort special is its people. From reception and the restaurant team to housekeeping, everyone is genuinely kind, caring, and attentive. A special mention to Quynh, the manager, who is one of the warmest, friendliest, and most cheerful people I’ve met. She goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, as though you’re staying with family rather than at a resort. The rooms are comfortable, especially the beds, and the open-air bathrooms are well-equipped. Surrounded by greenery, you can hear the water flowing down the hillside, birds chirping, and leaves rustling in the breeze. Waking up to all this greenery is a wonderful way to start the day. The breakfast buffet offers a great mix of healthy options, and the team remembers your preferences and takes care of them thoughtfully. The restaurant also serves delicious, wholesome dinners that offer excellent value. The spa is lovely, too, with relaxing treatments at very reasonable discounted rates. If you enjoy yoga or meditation, their outdoor sessions on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings are a real treat. Practising amidst nature, with birdsong and fresh air all around, is incredibly calming. The resort also offers complimentary electric buggy rides to the beach, perfect for enjoying the sunset. If you prefer staying in, there’s a lovely swimming pool, along with a separate, newly built pool for children. I initially booked just two nights, but after experiencing the place, I decided to extend my stay to 18 nights. That probably says more than any review could! Whether you’re travelling solo or with loved ones, this is a wonderful place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and simply enjoy being present. Highly recommended!

Everything about Valley Village Resort is wonderful! If I had one suggestion, it would be to add a small gym where guests could work out and balance out all the delicious breakfasts and dinners they’ll inevitably enjoy here. A good coffee machine would also be a lovely addition, allowing coffee lovers to enjoy a proper cappuccino, cortado, or latte without having to go elsewhere. These are just a couple of suggestions to make an already lovely stay even better. The resort has a charm that makes you want to stay longer than you originally planned!

Traumhafte Lage fast im Dschungel umgeben von viel Grün. Moderne rustikal mit massivem Holz eingerichtete Appartments. Ganz besonders das wunderschöne offene Bad! Trotz dem „ Freilichtbadezimmer“ ist die Privatsphäre gesichert. Aufgrund der schönen Lage ist es etwas abseits der Hauptstraße aber das Personal stellt prompte kostenfreie Shuttelcarts jederzeit zum Transport zur Hauptstraße bereit. Das Personal ist äußerst aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nicht jeder spricht Englisch aber mit Übersetzerapp klappt die Kommunikation prima, da jeder bemüht ist. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist toll und abwechslungsreich. Uns hat da nichts gefehlt, für jeden Geschmack ist gesorgt. Highlight für mich war das Spa mit den Massagen! Täglich dort Anwendungen gehabt, jede war fantastisch. Wer Riesenhotelkomplexe nicht mag und Natur und Ruhe bevorzugt ist hier richtig.

Kleines Manko: der Pool wurde gerade erweitert. Man konnte ihn zwar trotzdem benutzen und das schmälert meinen Eindruck nicht aber wenn man was nenne möchte war das eine kleine Einschränkung.
