What didn’t we like! Everything was great, very olde worlde feel to the house with exposed beams. Very comfortable 3 bedrooms, lovely lounge / dining area, fully equipped kitchen, large family bathroom with shower over, a separate shower cubicle with toilet. There is a big courtyard attached where you can securely park at least one car. A horse drawn carriage is run from the courtyard, the carriages are stored here and the horses brought into the courtyard nearly every morning to be hooked up to the carriages - it was a lovely and fascinating thing to see! Set in a great location, only a 5-10 min walk to the centre of Wernigerode.

No bathroom / toilet facilities upstairs

The location is a walking distance from restuarants and bars.The apartment is very clean , and decorated beautifully. The kitchen has everything you need. The big bathroom is huge, but you can only take a bath. If you like baths, it's perfect.

The apartment has two floors, with very steep and narrow stairs between them. There are toilets and bathrooms only at the first floor. Not pleasant, in particular if you need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night, or you have suitcases you wish to take your room. The second bathroom had a bad smell. Opened the small window but it didnt help. Very hot, no AC , no fan. We asked the owner for a fan, he said its not written in Booking that there is fan. After a sleepless night, we went to a shop and bought three fans, for 25 Euros each. Our bad was making noises each time one of us moved. It was very uncomfortable.

Great location, great house, very clean and super friendly host.
