The family was extremely hospitable, helpful and friendly. Felt like family abroad. The food was also great and they also cooked special meals for our daughter.

It was just like a 'home away from home' because the family is soooo... friendly! And the quality of the accommodation is very VERY good. A cleaner place you wouldn't find anywhere in Sri Lanka. And breakfast is wonderful as was the one dinner I had at the lodge. Superb home SL cooking! And I was even able to have some laundry done by the experts!

Didn't like? That I could only have 3 nights there!! If anyone has the time, it is a wonderful base to see all of the surrounding area from.

Wifi was a little slow

This was the best breakfast ever in a Sri Lankan hotel. In general, the hosts are super customer-oriented, ready to help and suggest in all matters. The rooms are very stylish and in good repair, the owner also continues to make cosmetic repairs to the entire building.

The most important thing that can be fixed fairly quickly and is very important to do is the general cleaning of the rooms. The floor and bed are clean, but all other interior items are dusty - switches, shelves, floor lamps, dirt everywhere. The second is the frogs from the toilet on the first floor - not the most terrible, but rather unpleasant phenomenon. Perhaps you can fix it with some kind of grids, maybe not, I don’t presume to say, but you need to be ready. Well, and the third thing, that specifically in one of the rooms on the first floor, no connection was caught. Although on the territory of the hotel outside the room everything was fine.
