This was a beautiful room with a fantastic view, just a couple of flights of steps up from the harbour. I had a dream of eating a Greek yoghurt and honey for breakfast looking out of that window and I did exactly that. It was a perfect stay.

This was an absolutely charming base for our four nights in Hydra! Though smaller in size, the room has been thoughtfully designed to make the most out of every inch with plenty of hooks, drawers, and surfaces to organize your things. It's also been decorated with a chic nautical look that really made us feel like we were spending time in the Greek islands :) Daily housekeeping was a pleasant surprise and our host stocked the kitchenette area with all kinds of useful items, which was most appreciated. We were happy to discover that, despite the apartment's location just behind the central port's bustling main area, as soon as we turned the corned to our doorway, all the sound just fell away and our space was always lovely and quiet. (There IS a church with a bell that rings in the mornings, but we're early risers so not an issue at all -- plus why would you want to sleep in while staying in such a nice place?!) No donkeys required to get to the apartment - it's super close, but you do have to carry your luggage up a steep set of stairs, so older people with lifting issues might want to check in with the host if arrangements can be made about assistance. We absolutely loved our time here though and would happily recommend to friends and family! Thanks for a great stay.

The hospitality was amazing. There was a lot of care put in to make sure we had all the amenities we needed, from beach towels to slippers to water. There was plenty of hot water and A/C. The host was so welcoming and the location was perfect.

Ideally located just a stone away from the port. Yes you’ll get the church bells in the morning but if you bring earplugs you should be absolutely fine. Room was nice although smaller than on the pictures.

I was glad to have earplugs, not for the bells but the neighbours. The walls are supra ultra thin, be ready to share initiante moments with whomever is next door! Also, the outdoor staircase may not be very accessible to everyone.

No soundproofing with the floor above Because the upper floor is only separated with the old system of big wood laths and flooring so in the night you can even hear your neighbour's steps ...

The host was so friendly and kind to us! Location is truly amazing, in the heart of the island. Room was fantastic extremely clean and so comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of its amenities. Great, great choice!!!!

It would have been a little better if the curtains could block the sun a bit more. Room got extremely bright as soon as the sun came up. Sun shutters or maybe black out curtains could have been a better choice. Apart from that, everything else was amazing!!!

The location is great, the interior design very nice

I didn’t like the smell from the toilet that during the night was becoming unbearable. Very close proximity to the church and the bells that make sleeping difficult. The view to the port wasn’t exactly what I imagined. We had a view to some rooftops full of construction. And the fact that the breakfast wasn’t available at the property even though it was mentioned during booking process.

Great location, steps from the harbor front and only a few steps (rare for Hydra). Super clean unit, fully upgraded. Great value for the money.

Great location - very close to the port and the area with all the restaurants and shops and in the same time it's so quiet. It's easily accessible one level apartment without stairs. The apartement is so nicely decorated and realy comfortable - extremely clean. The beds are very comfortable and with great linen.Very well equipped kitchen. I can't find words to describe our wonderful stay at Lela's House and Lela's hospibility. Highly recomended!

I like everything about the property! loved the modern shower the most, Loved that we were so close to restaurants and swimming spots and shops, loved how kind the hosts were.

I'd say the thing I liked the least was the bed, it was a bit harder than what I am used to but nothing to complain about really, I still slept really well.

Nicely decorated room in an idea location in the centre of Hydra. The bed was very comfortable.

-paid 630 euros for 4 nights stay and i would expect daily housekeeping to tidy up the room and empty the garbage but this did not happen.During our 4 days stay we only had housekeeping once which in my opinion in not acceptable for the price. -The people who were staying downstairs were very noisy and were always hanging out just outside of their room in the small street in front of the hotel playing loud music and talking. The also had a dog that was constantly barking whenever anybody would walk in front of the property, was not on the lead and i could hear his owners constantly reassuring people who were passing by that the dog is not going to bite. It is a pet friendly guesthouse so some noise is to be expected but not constantly and i would expect that the guests would be able to control their dogs. -we complained to the landlady about the people being unable to control their dog and being loud and she said she would speak to them but never did -the room was nice but i wouldn't return because the housekeeping was not enough and the landlady never addressed the unnecessary noice the people downstairs were making from early in the morning till late in the evening even though she was well aware of the situation
