Wonderful stay with a great and caring staff. Tres Chimbadas is a bit rustic, but makes up for it with great service, friendly people, and an amazing location with lake access and miles of trails. Wonderful experience for our whole family (parents and two teenage boys). Highly recommend!

Just know this is not a "luxury stay" ... it's very clean and well cared for, but you're in a lodge in the jungle... there's an element of "roughing it" but that's why you're there!

Our guide Victor was fabulous! He also stayed at the lodge and ate meals with us. Great conversations about politics, education, travel, peruvian food and recipes. Wonderful traditional barbecue for our final dinner. Enjoyed visit to local farm.

Food was good - but not gourmet as previous review had intimated. Fresh juice was exceptional! Should offer an afternoon drink and small snack after returning from midday adventure - we were thirsty!

Everything excellent. Food was superb home cooked Peruvian and we had an amazing tour guide. Bungalows private and modern and comfortable.
