The staff were excellent so friendly. They Couldn't do enough for you. The service was great and the bed and pillows were amazing! We had my sisters wedding there and the food (gold package) was so good!
Maybe a better stocked bar. As few spirits ran out while we were there.

The staff here are so lovely, all very helpful and friendly. The beds are very comfy and the food is excellent.
The light switches in room 1 are wired so you cannot just use the bedside light! You get used to it though!

The Park is a budget hotel that does the job well. The breakfast was good for quality and value, as was the evening meal. A five minute walk from the town (18 minutes walk from the rail station). Good bar, serving a well kept cask ale when I was there (happy hour between 16:00 and 18:00 I believe). Ample parking.
Steps in my room! Stubbed my toes a couple of times........nothing to do with happy hour in the bar!

Breakfast fine, except all 3 days coffee machine broken and we had to ask for orange juice as it had run out.
Plumbing. Ours and our friends had a plug that didn't work. The toilet flushing kept us awake 2.nights. The WiFi connection was poor. The tv remote did not work last night although we had an upgraded room.
