A little piece of paradise

- Relaxing atmosphere - Nice house and top-notch garden - Great hosts (Rene and Karin are absolutely lovely) - Cozy and clean rooms - Well organized concept - You get top value for a very fair price This B&B has been one of my absolute favorites ever. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome and the slogan of the owners „living the good life“ fits perfectly!

Absolutely nothing!

Wonderful location, quiet, a Centrum Supermarket at walkable distance, and with a car not too far of Willemstad and Kokomo Beach. The garden is AMAZING, the pool is very nice and you can use it anytime you want. The Hummingbird Studio has all the amenities you may think of, and the name is very appropriate, we have seen hummingbirds while staying outside. Karin and Rene are wonderful hosts and they also have two adorable dogs (in case you left your pooch at home and you miss it).

Only one suggestion: add mosquito nets to the windows and door (we stayed in The Hummingbird). At night it was nice to keep the door open, there was a pleasant breeze, but then I would be bitten by the ferocious Curacao mosquitos. It’s not a problem of the property it’s a problem of Curacao and of how good you “taste” to the mosquitos.

The location was excellent and the environment was calm and relaxing. The hosts were extremely hospitable and welcoming. My husband and I loved our experience in this country ❤.

- super quiet, we slept very well, the birds were singing in the garden <3 - wonderful facilities in the studio, the kitchen fully equipped, the shower fantastic - a great central location where we could easily catch a public bus -there is an amazing huge supermarket very close to the villa - the hosts do a really great job, their villa is gorgeous, clean and really well equipped with a beautiful garden and a swimming pool - the hosts are lovely people always there to answer your questions

A little paradise on an island. The garden is beautiful and has all kinds of birds and reptiles. The pool is very welcome. Good for a morning and evening swim.

I can't recommend this little sanctuary highly enough. The hosts were friendly and fantastic, and the room was charming. The whole place had a very home-like comfort. Amazing range of bird life, plus tortoises, turtles, and geckos. Lots of hummingbirds! The gardens are beautiful, and the pool is fantastic, with lots of different sun/shade options for sitting and lounging.

Nothing negative to report!

The hosts are lovely, very personable and open. The grounds are beautiful, and arranged so that there are many private sitting areas to enjoy the space. The pool is amazing. The breakfast is Dutch style. There is a fridge in a common area to store food, and a commercial-quality coffee machine. My room was lovely and spacious, and had a nice cross breeze with the door open--no a/c needed. Location is super--there's a couple of great beaches and a large supermarket nearby. It's easy to get to the city, or to go up north to other beaches.

The beds were very firm. This might just be how beds are in Curacao compared to America.
