Cascina Cologna

A presto. Antonio.

Nulla, tutto perfetto.

Great location, lovely rooms, lovely breakfast. Tricky road to reach property.

Nothing.

I would like to start by saying the road is fine. I read a lot of reviews which scared me and I was anxious about that road for days before my trip. I arrived and it was absolutely fine. I’m not sure what the fuss is about? Now let me tell you about Giovanni. Where to start? This man is a treasure. He made our Italian holiday what it was. Our Italian memories will always include Giovanni. He went above and beyond what we could have ever expected. I felt very well taken care of each and every day. The warmest welcome with prosecco and dinner, which he stayed up VERY late to welcome us with. Giovanni made the best lasagne I have ever had. Served with the warmest smile and genuine care. I am so happy we booked his beautiful home. It’s the best decision I made. We will definitely come back here. Giovanni I already miss your smile every morning. We will genuinely miss you.

Everything was perfect

The host Allessia is very kind and helpfull with everything you wish for. The breakfast is very tasty and extensive and also very important, they serve good coffee.

The facility is in an old farmhouse, so very spacious and in the middle of nature, but also prepare yourself for weird animal noises (mouse/longhorn beetle?), little scorpions in the bathroom, clamping doors and hatching shutters. I would suggest the owner to get rid of the gym equipment that is kind of in the way and in stead make a nice lounge area to relax after excercising outside in the mountains. And also adjust the bathroom a little so you can take a shower without wetting everything. Then it would be much better.
