Hotel La Tosca

This hotel is worth every cent! The location is great! It is tucked away on a quiet street but still close to shopping and restaurants. The hotel is beautiful, well maintained, and very clean. Every staff member is an absolute angel. There were no hidden fees or extra costs (just the city tax and that is expected). For a stay on Capri, this has an incredibly reasonable price. The breakfast is modest but still a delight. They have excellent coffee and even have milk substitutes like soy milk (latte di soia). We were given a basket of bread, croissants, and spreads. A fruit basket was available with yogurt and granola. I left full every morning. Extra note: what I appreciated the most about our room was the drying rack on our private patio. I know it’s not glamorous but it was a simple thing that made a huge difference for me. I was able to wash out a wine stain on some clothes and have them dry on the patio. It was a small thing but it was a relief to be able to do that. I love this hotel and I hope I get the pleasure of staying there again.

This is a Capri problem and not the fault of this hotel. You have to walk to the hotel from Umberto I Piazza because the streets are pedestrian only. If you have a lot of luggage, just spend the extra cash to have your luggage delivered to the hotel. Dragging your luggage through the narrow streets is a huge pain. We did this and it was not fun. During checkout the hotel was able to arrange to have our luggage delivered to the port and it was less than 50 euro.

Perfect location very clean and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend Staff are very helpful

Breakfast was very good, continental . location was just far enough away from crowds. Only 3 to 4 hundred yards through the narrow back streets and you were in the main square Very handy for Capri RoofTop and Hotel Quisisana where family were staying for family wedding.

Zimmereinrichtung sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Bett sehr hart und muffiger Zimmergeruch. Für eine Übernachtung ok.
