We stayed in Paradise apartment instead
Just to be clear, we booked for Apt slice of life but were given a different apartment because of works taking place at initial place of booking. Unfortunately there was also works at where we stayed! Right outside our balcony. But this was not expected by the owners in fairness. We are expecting a 2 nights refund because of this noise. It could have spoilt our stay, but the location is so good, it’s less than 5 minutes from the beach so could go there if weather warm. We were met as arranged. Good communication with owners. The apartment itself was very pleasant. First floor, double locked for safety and also good lift. 3 beds, 2 toilets, fitted kitchen with excellent appliances, ample room, excellent WiFi, tv (not English channels), plenty of bedding & towels. Clean & tidy. Plenty of storage. Fab, sunny balcony with views of sea, but couldn’t use it because of dust & noise. Can safely recommend (once refurbishment finished opposite balcony) Supermarket about 5 minute walk and handy Rolser trolley for use to carry shopping. 👍 also x 2 low chairs to take to beach.
Unfortunately extensive works being carried out opposite balcony - but unexpected so couldn’t be helped.

Great location and very clean too but the darkness is a factor to be considered.
The Positives: The Apartment is in a great location for the beach/restaurants and it is very clean. There is a washer/dryer which is a great addition too. Two bathrooms, one with a bath/shower and one with a walk in shower is great for a family sharing.
The negatives: It is a very dark apartment and although it is very well presented because it is so dark it is quite depressing because you need the lights on all the time. There are no bedside lamps only a ceiling light in the bedrooms and only a switch to turn this light on and off at one side of the double bed!!! Not good when you want to read!!! There are only Spanish speaking channels on the T.V. absolutely NO English (or any other language) channels on the T.V. which is a great pity, even one or two different language channels would make a big difference, especially when you are staying here in January and spending most evenings in the apartment. I genuinely think a floor lamp in the living area would add to the homeliness of this apartment too. Finally, there is a double duvet on the king size bed which is ridiculous, it doesn't work when two people are sharing because you spend the night trying to cover yourself with the duvet and leaving the person beside you without any cover at all!!!! This apartment is not cheap to rent so perhaps the owner could consider these ideas.
