Poblado Guest House

We had a fantastic stay and could not recommend this hostel enough. We booked a twin room with a shared bathroom, but on arrival, the staff kindly upgraded us to an ensuite room, which was a lovely surprise. The entire property is spotless, well maintained, and remarkably quiet. Having a kitchen on each floor is a brilliant setup. Our kitchen was very well equipped, making cooking simple. We loved the thoughtful organisation system, with dedicated room numbers clearly marked on the shelves and inside the fridge for personal groceries and pantry items. The internet was fast and reliable, the beds were comfortable, and free luggage storage was a great bonus. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Location is spot on as well. Situated on the edge of El Poblado, it is an easy walk to the metro station, feels very safe at night, and has plenty of great restaurants and lively hangout spots just across the street. Exceptional value for money.

Nothing at all, everything was perfect for us. Just two practical tips for future travellers: there is no lift, so if you are staying on the top floor, be prepared for six or seven flights of stairs with your bags. Also, reception closes at 10:00 pm, which was completely fine for our schedule, but worth keeping in mind for late arrivals. Also not a social hostel. Very quite.

The guest house was located in a good neighborhood with many restaurants. The breakfast was good. A good recommendation when you are in Medellin! All the tour starting locations are located in walking distance from the stay.

The view from the double room with terrace was exceptional! Spent quite a bit of time just hanging out on the terrace we liked it so much! Breakfast was nice and simple, fresh juice and fruits every morning! Laundry service was good price and well done! Location was perfect! Manila in El Poblado has a lot to offer and it's still quiet and cozy! Metro station is about 10 mins walk. We had to move around our dates last minute, the staff were very helpful and attentive! Very easy communication through whatsapp, also everyone spoke good english!

There are quite a bit of stairs to climb, we didn't mind it but could be an issue for some. The pillows were a bit too hard for us but might be okay for others🤷🏼‍♀️
