It was a perfect vacation. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We always thoroughly enjoyed the food, and there was an extensive menu for every meal. The tents and apartments were well-equipped with comfortable beds. But the best part was the animals: several elephants visited the lodge every day. You could safely watch them from the lobby or the restaurant balcony. It was so beautiful and rewarding to see these huge animals so close up! We also saw warthogs, waterbucks, hippos, many birds, agamas, and even buffaloes once on the lodge's vast grounds. We had fantastic days at Engiri Game Lodge, highly recommended to everyone!

This is the second time I have stayed here once again it was exceptional. We stayed in the rooms this time (rather than tents) and they were beautifully kept and very clean. The setting is fabulous with regular visits from elephants and hippos. The restaurant is raised up giving an amazing view over the park. The staff (once again) were wonderful, very professional service and super friendly.

The meal and check out times don’t quite line up with the park opening times. That said, they were very flexible when we arrived late from a game drive. There was no grumpiness with us at all.

Loved that it is inside the national park and the animals regularly wander through the property. An elephant came to visit the registration area during breakfast!
