My fav part of the whole trip was in Amed and in this Hotel. You can get massages in the hotel and facing the beach. The arrack cocktails we got here were the best! I couldn't get enough of it. Good breakfast and dinner options as well. You can rent the snorkeling gear and the scooter from the hotel(they will arrange the scooter for you, quite reasonable price) and snorkel right opposite the hotel or go on a short ride to Jemeluk Bay and snorkel there for hours.
Amed is a paradise with the right balance of modern amenities and nature.
The entrance to the hotel is extremely steep. I am an expert scooter rider(we ride all kinds of conditions in India) and I struggled to keep balance. If you are not sure of your scooter skills, it's better not to ride the scooter on this path.
The snorkeling rates they quoted me online over email was different to the one I got quoted when I got there. I had already booked a snorkeling trip with another agency by them.
Also, the hotel needs to give us some free water from a water dispenser. It's annoying to spend so much on water in the whole trip.

The rooms were very modern and clean, the staff were incredible, I booked for a few days but then booked for more. Its right on the beach nobody around. It was walking distance to Rainbow dive centre also, so very convenient for me.Loved my stay here! Ill definitely be back.

Location is fabulous in the beach but the trade off is a very steep descent.
Quiet, lovely staff.
The bathroom and facilities need a spruce up.
