The location was good, close to the center and the bridge. Rooms were clean and there was always hot water.

1. The reception didn't make me feel welcome. On the contrary, they made me feel quite tense. The staff had three people, each one on a different day. They never said hello to me, and were on the spectrum of ignoring me to being a bit aggressive. This is in stark contrast to other reviews that absolutely complimented the hospitality. I never felt any of that hospitality! And it has nothing to do with language. You can smile and be nice even if you don't speak English. 2. The inner courtyard, from which you enter the hotel can look a bit slummy. Although the general location is good. 3. The bed was not very comfortable, squeaky and too bouncy. It felt very old fashioned, probably an old mattress. 4. Air-conditioning didn't work or was disconnected. I didn't ask them about this because it wasn't that hot, but still. I think the value for money was not perfect. It was a tiny bit more expensive than other hotels which I saw that had fully equipped kitchens, which I didn't have in my room.
