This was a beautiful place to stay - it felt like home away from home. The breakfast is amazing and the staff and owner are so so helpful. The owner spent a few hours organising an internal flight for us and taxi. The hotel went above and beyond customer service.

Loved everything

Beautiful location (both buildings and gardens) and our rooms were wonderful. Loved having a bathtub and the commitment to zero plastic. Thoughtful touches such as mosquito coils and books to read. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful. Homemade touches such as Shan noodles and banana bread. Dragonfruits grown on the property

TVs didn't work

We loved our stay here. Unfortunately we only stayed one night as we had a trek booked for the next day. The place is so quaint and very homely. Fantastic value for money! The breakfast was huge. Would definitely come back here!

Breakfast was filling and delicious. Charming classic b&b with a beautiful garden. Nice efforts to reduce plastic waste. Kind staff. We liked to see it was dog friendly too. We enjoyed our short stay.

The breakfast was exceptional! Location is beautiful and walking distance to downtown. The staff is helpful and always smiling. Although dining is outside the surrounding area is beautiful and full of nature.

Shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom leading to a wet floor after showering (no fun to use the toilet with a wet floor). This is common in Myanmar and not too big of an issue.

All was perfect and above expectations even: the welcoming delicate and beautiful garden, the hospitality and high professionalism of the owner and the staff, the warmhearted and clean atmosphere of the overall home and rooms, the fine and beautiful interior design and boutique area, the delicious home-made food and especially tasty shan noodles and pancakes proposed at breakfast, the pioneering and multiple messages and actions guiding the guests toward a environmentally friendly way to travel and respect Kalaw resources (bottle refill station at ground flour, respectful tourim posters and books, limited use of plastic, recommendation of sutainable behaviours such as not overconsuming food, etc.). More than a charming accomodation, this is a peaceful and harmonious way to enjoy Kalaw's beauty while trying and showing how to adopt eco-friendly travel ways. Congrats for all.

Nothing all was at its best! The only point is that food displayed is so delicious that we would have loved to enjoy it even later after 4pm.
