We loved the rural environment, the really friendly and helpful hosts (wish we'd had more time to talk to them), and although we did not take full advantage of all they had to offer (the longer tours being outside of our budget), we enjoyed our 1 hour sampan boat ride, and we made good use of the provided bicycles - including biking to a coconut candy workshop as well as around the nearby islands. The bikes themselves, like those of many other places we've stayed in Vietnam, are well loved and showing their age - but check the brakes & tires first and you'll be fine :) We really enjoyed the dinners - 3 standouts from what we tried: summer rolls, fish cooked in a clay pot served with rice, and stir-fired vegetables (although we stayed for 5 nights, we did not try everything!) Our cabin was rustic and beautiful, the AC worked well when we needed it to (the fan was all we needed at night), we enjoyed the scent diffuser next to the bed, and it was lovely to sleep surrounded by nature sounds. Our host was very helpful arranging transportation for us.

We would have appreciated a greater varriety of breakfast options, but what we did have was tasty!

Everything! The owners are a fantastic husband and wife couple. Amazing, home cooked food. Great local activities (6 hours coconut island tour was the best!), clean accommodation, and the most friendly people you will ever meet! We will be back ☺️

Leaving 😢

Lovely place, our kids really enjoyed the lush garden next to the river, its canals and spotting jumping fish in the morning. Free bikes for fun to explore the area. Very good tip from the owner to get the local ferry to another island. The boat tour was great and our guide very knowledgeable and excellent in English.

Nothing
