Very nice home!

First of all, my confusion is who manages this property. Vrbo or Vacasa? Looks like it is Vacasa not Vrbo. Keeping that aside, the biggest problem with this property is "Privacy". To start with an example, On a fine Sunday afternoon, I was sitting in the living room with my kids and watching a movie. Someone walked into the backyard and started peeping through the glass doors and windows. My kids were freaked out and my only goal at that time was to keep them safe from such intruders who might cause harm. With that incident, we were totally in shock and upon checking the surroundings of the home, there is no fence or any sort of partition that can restrict neighbors or outsiders to enter from front or backyard of the property. We couldn't step out and play due to that shocking incident, locked all the doors and windows and promptly left the property on our checkout date. I have reported this incident to the Vacasa point of contact and she reached out to the owner but there was no response from the owner and no action from Vrbo/Vacasa.
The house itself is very old and not well maintained. The plants were everywhere to your knee height and needed a nice trim in the back and front yard.

The house is pretty good but the experience was lacking. First the good-spacious house and comfy beds and a view. The BBQ is rubbish and was filthy but we appreciated the property managers quick response to cleaning it. They needed to. Fat had not been cleaned from the BBQ in months and being that close to the home it presented a serious fire hazard. While the house is modern the adjacent properties are rather run down and the neighbors had power tools going late at night and early in the morning which was not appreciated. They also accused us of having a dog on the property which was not only untrue (they are welcome to see our kennel bill) but put a damper on our experience. As other reviewers have noted, they really need an outdoor table and chairs. And finally, the lack of basic supplies was beyond cheap. There were only 3 dish washing tablets in the house for a 4 night stay. Seemed counter intuitive as we could not run the dirty dishes on our final day. Camano is ok but next time we will stay on Whidbey. There is so much more to do there.

Really enjoyed the property. Spacious, clean and nicely done. Just a bit of a drive on the island to get there but worth it; we stay on the island 2x a year and this is definitely one of the nicer properties.

The location was beautiful with privacy. A challenge was using the shower, you could not run the dishwasher, handwash dishes or use the other shower without the HWH alarm going off. Comfortable and cozy with the fireplace. Would recommend if you don't mind the HWH.

The place is great- but the kitchen sink n drain were awful n the shower curtain in the guest bath were moldy the faucets looked like they were never wiped down. It looks like it was all redone except those items I mentioned

Overall the property was as described. Here are our comments for improvements.
The combination lock on the gate was VERY difficult to open. The last digit would not turn without getting some kind of tool. The Queen bedroom had a very squeaky door. The Queen and Twin bedrooms need at least a luggage rack and/or shelves or drawers so you can unpack your stuff while there. Area rug in dining room needs to to anchored to avoid curling corners - tripping hazard. The non-stick fry pan was definitely NOT non-stick and a 3 or 4 qt pot would be helpful.
Otherwise, we were pleased.

10 Days on Camano Island
Overall the property was as described. Here are our comments for improvements.
The combination lock on the gate was VERY difficult to open. The last digit would not turn without getting some kind of tool. The Queen bedroom had a very squeaky door. The Queen and Twin bedrooms need at least a luggage rack and/or shelves or drawers so you can unpack your stuff while there. Area rug in dining room needs to to anchored to avoid curling corners - tripping hazard. The non-stick fry pan was definitely NOT non-stick and a 3 or 4 qt pot would be helpful.
Otherwise, we were pleased.

Management, on the other hand, leaves me wanting more. On night 5 out of our 6-night stay, we asked for an additional roll of toilet paper for each bathroom to hold us over till checkout. Their reply was that they only stock each bathroom with 2 rolls. Ok, sure, but we’re staying 6 nights and we get the same amount of supplies as guests staying 3 nights? I told the mgmt that it’s perfectly reasonable for us to ask for one more roll for each bathroom since we have 5 guests here for an entire week. The mgmt copied and pasted the same reply as before. 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve never had this problem before. So, heads up, if you’re staying a bit longer, bring your own toilet paper.

Lovely home with a nice view. Comfortable bed. A comfortable sofa and outdoor chairs on patio would be a nice addition. Gate lock was a bit of a challenge! We did enjoy our time on Camano Island. Temperature was nice and cool.

Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful location. The home was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. There are lots of parks and beaches nearby. It was just a very relaxing visit!

Wonderful waterfront stay
Stayed at the house with a group of friends to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, house was perfect to accommodate our party of 6! Check-in was easy, tastful interior and overall a very comfortable stay. Only downside was that the fireplace wasn't working but that was only a minor issue. Highly recommend for a weekend out of town!

The house is beautiful, even more so than the pictures! Very clean and tidy. Great view of the water, so peaceful and quiet too. I would just add that more hangers would be nice in the closet and a portable fan for the bedroom, to avoid running the air. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful house in a quiet spot
Our family felt instantly at home. Well appointed, clean and modern. Open kitchen. Ample yard space to play and beautiful views. Nice sized bedrooms.
Good for kids as long as they won’t run off the property - there’s a relatively big drop off in the back yard.

This home was perfect for our family. We loved the peace, the outdoor space, and the wonderful feeling of space in the home. It was very clean, well equipped and conveniently located on Camano Island close to both State parks.

front lawn area (we had room to play frisbee with our kids)
nice woodsy setting, lots of cedars

no firewood for the fire pit. Luckily we brought some but it just wasn't enough.
No outdoor table. We were very sad about this because we wanted to eat our meals outside and play games and enjoy the beautiful weather. We couldn't do these things without an outdoor table so we ended up being inside more than we wanted to. There were chairs and seating, just not a table for meals and games.
Some ugly construction tape marking off the edge of property (and huge cliff drop off) that obscured the view. would be much nicer with a low fence or some other kind of marker.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, but next time we will find a place with an outdoor/patio table and chairs so that we can have our meals outside. Beautiful views and very nice house!
