Wellness Penzión Ferrata

Tolle Lage! Bequeme Betten und große Zimmer! Schöner Balkon und schönes großes Bad Abendessen spitze im Restaurant zu guten Preisen

Wellness sehr verwinkelt und stickig! Keine Außenbereiche! Frühstück wenig Auswahl!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ this hotel exceeded my expectations. It’s literally in the forest — absolutely amazing. All the staff were smiling all the time, very friendly and welcoming and we let a few of them. This is honestly quite rare at least compared to my experience in Slovakia. I travel a lot across Europe and the UK as an architect, and this hotel can easily compete with some of the Austrian family hotels in the Alps. There were just a couple of small downsides: a slightly noisy fridge and the buns on Sunday weren’t very fresh — even though it would be easy to warm up frozen ones in the oven. But overall, I’m giving it 5 stars because the food was really great, and the staff even disconnected the fridge without any hesitation. Thank you guys for a great stay!

Noisy fridge and not fresh bun in Sunday.

Clean, well equiped, close to walking route, Comfortable room, bed, nice staff.

Restaurant was only opened till 20:30.

The room was clean and the sheets were fresh, which I appreciated. One small but nice touch: the air conditioning had a pleasant scent throughout the hotel.

there were several small disappointments: No hairdryer in the room TV was not working No bottled water provided Fridge was completely empty Only one large pillow was available – if you have neck issues, definitely bring your own The mattress was slightly worn in places, but it didn’t affect sleep too much Also, there were no hotel slippers or bathrobe provided, which is unusual for this type of accommodation. Wellness area comes at an extra charge of €7.50 per person. Unfortunately, the mint sauna was out of order during our stay. Massage prices are quite high – €35 for just 30 minutes. As for the restaurant, the food was well presented and tasted fine. However, the burgers on the menu didn’t really match the hotel’s theme, and there was a lack of local or wild meat options, or traditional slovak food, which would have been more fitting. Be aware that the restaurant closes early – after 9 PM, you won’t get anything to eat, which was a bit frustrating.
