A wonderful place and fantastic hospitality

Absolutely beautiful and quiet location and house at the outskirts of a small village. Amazing 180 deg view of the countryside. everything is high standard and well maintained and the owner keeps the garden lush. Fantastic to read under the olive trees during the hot midday sun.

The only thing not perfect perhaps is that after 18.30 there is no sun on the pool due to the house blocking, but as it’s usually hot all day we did not miss it.

What a place! The garden is amazing, the pool, the fruit trees, the view on the mountains. Calm, relaxed, poetic. Highly recommended.

It is a very beautiful, spacious villa with all mod-cons, very well equipped. We loved the garden with many fruit trees, hammocks, tables and sunbeds and the beautiful pool. The kitchen is fully equipped - much better than any i have seen in rental houses. The hosts were very friendly and easy to reach - immediately answering any questions we have had, providing recommendations, etc. The area is peaceful with tavernas and caffes in the village of Vori which are really nice, plus it is easy to drive to nearby beaches like Matala.

The house was really nice and we had a great time, cannot complain about anything:)

Our stay at Villa Vigles was amazing, a few days in paradise. We have been hosted by Georgio who is great, very welcoming, friendly and helpful (lots of tips for the area, restaurants etc...). He also had a lot of little attentions during our stay. The villa is amazing: lots of space, clean, confortable, great view from the garden & bedrooms, peacefulness throughout the day (and evening) in the garden and really nicely decorated. One of us was injured and it was great to have a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor! The location is ideal to explore the nice beaches of Creta (Matala, Komos, Kalamaki...), alternatively if you want to relax in the villa, the house offers great confort: from the infinite pool, to the large garden which offers a lot of shade during warm cretan summer. There are several taverns at walking distance (5 to 10min) and if you'd rather stay home, the house is fully equipped to cook (kitchen is large with everything needed). Having dinner on the terrace is amazing. There is a big supermarket at 3/4km away.

What a lovely place! The hosts thought of every detail to make us welcome. Beautiful garden, heavenly pool for this warm summer, all combined for a delightful holiday. We loved the cultural museum in town and the welcoming tavernas.

The views from the villa/ pool/ terrace are outstanding. The large gardens which have grapes/ lemons/ figs/ pomegranates/ olives and more... Beautifully decorated and furnished throughout The local cafe, taverna and shops The peacefulness of the villa around the pool, having dinner on the terrace and watching the sunrise from the upstairs bedroom terrace. Having one of the bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs is great for older guests And reading a book in one of the hammocks, shaded by olive trees was relaxing. The host Georgos is great. Extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. A pleasure to get to know him during our stay.
