Nice size room was very friendly and welcoming
Shower 🚿 was bit temperamental with temperature 🌡 but honestly had no other issues

The room was very well presented with nicely made up beds and clean sheets. A nice big TV in the room with tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits.
We had a really lovely welcome on arrival and the hosts were very personable indeed. We had a fabulous breakfast and they catered very nicely to our requirements.
Fabulous clean white fluffy towels and they even offered Body/shampoo small bottles in the bathroom along with tissues. The shower worked very well, although it took a little while to adjust the settings for the temperature.
I am not a fan of carpets in Hotel rooms, as they show too many stains and unfortunately in our room this was the case. Not the end of the world, but I prefer to either wear slippers or keep socks on and not walk in bare feet.
This was a very minor negative given that we had such a lovely overall stay but it could be rectified in time.

We were made to feel very welcome as soon as Jane opened the door.
Knoll Guest has had a lovely home from home feel about it.
Our room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was small but adequate and we were able to come and go as we pleased. Breakfast was delicious, all food is cooked to order and the homemade bread was a hit with us.
Ideal location situated close to the seafront, pier and town.
Parking can be a bit of a pain but we were able to move the car into the street a little later on.

Jane and Neil were on hand for us when needed. They conversed happily with us but were not overbearing. Breakfast was served exactly on time and was cooked to order from a very flexible menu.
Our room was available to us during the day if required. Three family members enjoyed four nights stay.
The Knoll Guest house is run by Jane and Neil with a completely professional, yet caring, service.
A Guest house naturally has limitations wherever it is, but The Knoll offers all that could be needed given the confines of space, and stair access. There was nothing not to like.

"Eine Unterkunft, in der man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Das Frühstück wird mit viel Liebe zubereitet, sogar mit selbst gebackenem Brot."
