We had two bookings during the same week at this hotel so I get the chance to write 2 reviews!! Everything was very positive as previously reported however I forgot 2 points. The wifi coverage was really good even in our room. the air conditioning was the best I’ve ever experienced could even sleep through it without earplugs!!!
Won’t hesitate to book here in the future.
Nothing we didn’t like.
There’s some things they could do to make it even better like some complimentary water in the rooms.

This is a small hotel with only 8 rooms, all with a balcony overlooking the port area where the boats are moored. The Managers live on site so it is personal service and they are very helpful and nice. A continental breakfast is available at €10 which is a selection of pastries and jams and Corsican honey, juice, apple purée and tea/coffee. It was very quiet and well located opposite our boat trip to Scandola. Parking is available in the public car park opposite the hotel accessed from a pedestrian bridge. The car park is accessed from the road to the beach and port, the turn off before the road into Porto if you’re coming from Ajaccio

The location of La Calypso right on the pier is very good, close to lots of restaurants and with a great view of the marina. Our room was large and clean. The staff gave us good recommendations for restaurants.
We were on the second floor, which did give us a nice view, but there is no elevator (we knew that ahead of time). We are couple in our 70's and were surprised that no one even offered to give us a hand with our luggage up or down the stairs.
There are no available electric sockets in the room for charging phones! There are 2 in the bathroom that only work when you leave the lights on. In the room there are NONE near the beds and we had to unplug a lamp and crawl behind a chair to find 2 others.
There is refrigerator in the room but it is filled with priced drinks and they request that you don't use it for your own food.

Stayed here for a week and had to change rooms as the room we wanted wasn’t available for the whole of our stay.
Both rooms had plenty of space and were nicely decorated and spotlessly clean.
The hotel couldn’t be better positioned as everyone else reports.
Breakfast was really nice with fresh bread and pastries. You get the same items on a tray everyday which is fine for a shorter stay.
Service from all the staff was friendly and efficient with Serena in particular being very helpful with advice on restaurants and places to go.
On a very expensive island this hotel offers very good value for money so wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
Nothing to dislike but it’s important to set your expectations at the right level. This is a very nice bed and breakfast hotel but it’s not the Ritz. There’s no pool no restaurant no bar and no parking none of which is a problem as long as you’re aware.
The shower is above the bath with a curtain and there was only one power point in the corner of the room so you can only charge one device at a time (or take an extension lead).
Minor points but just trying to offer a balanced view.

Very nice hotel, nice and clean room with a little terrace with a view of the port and sunset. The staff was very friendly and we had a comfortable well decorated room.

Very good location in the centre, nice view from the balcony, helpful staff.
No hot water (not in the mornings, not at the evening), just cold one. Weird for a 3-star hotel.
Noisy - noise in marina starts early in the morning.

Good location next to the harbour. Really good sized room and good bathroom facilities. Friendly staff.
The room was incredibly dark as it was clad completely in wood. The room hadn't been cleaned under the beds and other furniture. The outside terrace wasn't usable.

We stayed here for one night as part of our September two-week, 1,000 km tour of Corsica - with nine different accommodations.
Took car on pedestrian area to the waterfront and hotel frontage….quite a challenge with large number of walking tourists. Reception up a flight of stairs and further stairs to rooms. Excellent friendly reception.
Room very good and clean with large double bed. Good air conditioning - wi fi would not work with apple mac. The balcony is a bit enclosed on both sides but still a very good harbour view. We had windy weather so the enclosed balcony proved helpful protection. Nearby restaurants and take aways.
Free parking over the footbridge opposite. Would be much better to park there and take cases across (a few minutes walk) rather than try to access the pedestrian area.
A good stay but too windy for us to take a boat trip. Recommended.
