Big place to spend if you are travelling with family. Organized, you can find everything you need for e.g. Cooking etc. so very well equiped. Also hand built sauna, green area, lot of place makes this just more comfortable.

Could have been cleaner at some point (eg. Kitchen, bathroom), especially considering the note that asks you to clean up the kitchen yourself and remove the bed coversheets after yourself when leaving. I’d rather leave it for the cleaners, not the guests, because that can make a difference.

Everything was amazing! Beautiful home, so clean and contemporary. Well-equipped kitchen and accommodating hosts.

We had a great stay. I even looked to see if it was free for one more night. Easy, comfortable, spacious and clean! It’s somewhat remote but the view is fantastic and you’re likely driving everywhere anyway. Perfect for a couple or a family.

It was actually very warm inside so we had to keep some windows open which was tricky for sleeping since it’s daylight all the time.

Beautiful home in a stunning location. Modern, spacious, clean and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay.

the House has the perfect location to spend some amazing days in the Icelandic „wildlife“, it‘s about 10 minutes drive to the next village :) it’s also a good place to explore the golden circle (about 1,5 hours drive) or the south of Iceland. The house offers a good standard of equipment - especially in the kitchen and bathroom. (Only a kitchen grater and a coated pan is missing). There are also the classic ingredients and spices (probably from previous tenants). The view is fantastic and even if the seating furniture looks a bit used, it is very comfortable. The rest of the furnishings are very modern and appealing. Gunnar was always very helpful with all our questions PS: it’s also a good place to spot the northern lights :))

An explanation for the TV and for the waste separation would have been an advantage.
