We occupied the first bedroom. After a few days a bad smell developed in our bedroom and bathroom. I think it came from the toilet/sewer. It was very off putting, almost nausea inducing. I don’t think it was in the other bedroom or bathroom- perhaps because they weren’t being used? It was such a shame in an otherwise fantastic place.

dated, not for people with mobility problems. stairs up n down to pool which is round back to upstairs flat. don’t be fooled - we were but buena villas soon sorted us out 😀

loved it a little unnerved with owners downstairs having to walk past there windows/doors to get to pool and felt overlooked

Casa Juanita, what a fantastic stay! I’m just back from a five night stay at Casa Juanita Puerto Calero with two of my friends. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, immaculately clean and has all you need for a very enjoyable stay. The gardens, outdoor space and seating areas that surround the villa are well thought out and spacious. Complemented by a lovely swimming pool the areas are perfect for pool days when you don’t fancy venturing in to Puerto Calero. The location of the villa is great with panoramic views that knock your socks off, especially at sunrise and sunset. Puerto Calero is a ten minute walk downhill with many shops bars and restaurants. We ate there most nights and the quality of both the food, drinks and service was exceptional. Free pour spirits and cocktails galore, absolute winner ! We had such a wonderful trip, would definitely stay at Casa Juanita again.

It’s big enough for more people to stay…maybe get a sofa bed? No real negatives
