Fantastic location. V central and had everything we needed. Spotless. Great host!

The location was ideal.

Being required to call a phone number every time we wanted to get in the main door, instead of having some form of a key was a little difficult.

The location was great. Short 8 minute walk to Stephensplatz. But far enough from noisy nightclubbers. Although it's in a short street, there are enough eateries to satisfy any palette.

On the first day, trying to get through the front door was anything but easy. We are from overseas & I switched off my Sim from my home country. I had to ring an Austrian phone number to have the front door open. Through WhatsApp I tried calling the number but it wasn't connecting. I was there for over 5 mintues. When you are tired after a 7 hour train ride, and being taken for a joyride by a taxi driver, the last thing you want is a door that doesn't unlock. Fortunately a visitor asked the guy at the pizza shop next door to unlock. Once he did, we followed without asking any questions. The bed was comfortable. Although the bathroom was a bit cramped.

We were travelling from Bratislava and realised that we would be at the property earlier than we thought. I emailed the property but did not receive a response until the following morning, prior to arrival saying it was too short notice to change. The details stated that there was a key to gain access in a box to the entrance, this was not the case. There was a key box at the property next door but not this one. I made numerous phone calls whilst we waited outside to either gain access or to obtain more information. This was difficult. Eventually I spoke to someone to whom I explained the situation, I found that difficult to understand. Eventually a lady who happened to be the cleaner appeared and escorted us up to the flat. We just needed to drop our bags to then go back out in to Vienna. She was very helpful and accommodating, had it not been for her we would have been left outside on the pavement, waiting potentially for 2 more hours. It was not a good experience….
