Casa Tres Colibries

This place is absolutely beautiful, a little piece of paradise with it's tiled courtyard and pool and vegetation.

Breakfast was very good but based on my personal tastes I would have liked the option of beans and some sort of leafy greens to make it extremely nutritious. But the owners are already going to a lot of work preparing a very good meal.

Joana was super kind and welcoming, and helped us a lot fixing the issues with our car - we really owe her! The location is great, the structure is amazing and the swimming pool is a real added value for the hot weather of Merida.

The property was absolutely incredible. From the street, Giovanna’s house looks like many of the beautiful traditional houses in Mérida, but the moment the door opened we genuinely couldn’t believe our eyes. Behind the unassuming façade is an immaculately decorated colonial masterpiece, grand and spacious, stretching back into the most beautiful garden and pool. It’s actually difficult to describe just how stunning this house is. The only thing that came close was the warmth of the welcome we received from Daniel and Giovanna. Our room was amazing and our grown-up kids’ room was equally stunning. We would recommend it to anyone.

As with many travelers before me, Casa Tres Colibríes was my oasis in Mérida. It is the perfect location to unwind after a busy (or hot!) day in the Yucatán. The public spaces are tastefully decorated and the pool is simply spectacular - refreshing and surrounded by palm trees and other lush vegetation. I spent a lot of time there! Santiago is a pleasant, quiet neighborhood; its plaza (including a mercado and a movie theatre) is appreciatively close to the property. But whenever you require the hustle and bustle of the Plaza Mayor, Calle 47 or Paseo Montejo, all are reachable within a 15-minute walk. Giovanna and Daniel are determined to ensure that every one of their guests has the best possible time during their visit - always available for questions, advice and support. They helped make my stay in Mérida unforgettable.
