Great apartment with friendly hosts.

Beautifully updated apartment in well maintained building. Creatively decorated with a touch of whimsy. Small but modern kitchen/dining/living area just right for two. Comfortable queen-size bed. Easy walk to supermercado and restaurants. Very easy and responsive communication with the owner when we needed some help with how to control the heat.

It took several hours for the apartment to warm up after turning on the heat. We kept our coats on! It would have been helpful if the heat had been turned on beforehand.

A beautiful cozy flat that made us feel like we were at home during our short stay. I loved how much attention was put into the details: the books, the carpets, the colourful decoration.

We came without almost no previous notice, so the heating was off and it felt a bit chilly inside. The host gave us a bottle of wine, which was delicious, but there were no proper wine glasses in the cupboards.

The layout of the apartment was great and the lady that was at reception (which I gather was the owner) was very friendly and helpful. She even moved her car out of the secure parking space so we could park our car underneath the apartment block (at a cost of 10 euros per day).

It was very noisy. The apartment was on the first floor overlooking a fairly main road. It had shutters but still noisy. There was a yapping dog in the apartment next door, we could hear the people talking in the apartment on the otherside, chairs scrapping on the floor above us.

Wonderfully spacious apartment- right in the middle of town. Everything worked well, comfy beds. Interesting and very different views from the front and rear of the building. Balcony at fronts rear.

There was a smell of cooking on the lift/landing

Central location, plenty of places to eat/drink. Comfortable and well equipped apartment. Easy free parking nearby. Adjacent to Gadis supermarket.

Arrangements to collect the keys were unsatisfactory. An email about these was only sent on the day of arrival, after we had set off, so we did not know where to collect the keys ( a nearby bodega). Attempts to phone failed, our fault quite possibly. I saw no sign saying O Faro apartments, the street name was given as Calle de Rosalia etc, when on my TomTom, maps , and the streets itself it is actually Avenida de Rosalia.... I used the Latitude Longitude given on my SatNav to check we were in right place! Even the street number was not where we were staying! But whether or not by chance two women were in the doorway with the number given and said something in Spanish about getting the key from shop or cafe - not Bodega, I am sure. The Bodega was closed, but the two women saw we were back and returned to help. They spied a woman going into the bodega who was to give us the key. She was very helpful and from then on all went smoothly.

Great apartment, with a large lounge and bedroom. Very quiet. Supermarket next door and just a short walk from the main area. Checkin was eady6 we picked up the key ftom the shop below and was also given a gift of a lovely botyle of wine.

My only suggestion would be for a kettle to be supplied.
