L’accueil et le petit déjeuner

The rooms were really clean and cute and they had comfortable beds. The host was warm and welcoming! We loved sitting in the garden and really enjoyed the breakfast!

Violette was a lovely host, she was very warm and friendly, and made me feel very welcome. The room was large. The location was near to the University which was perfect for me. I enjoyed eating breakfast in the garden. Everything was very clean and she provided shampoo, towels and shower gel, which was appreciated.

The breakfast wasn't quite to my taste, although I think it would be good for those who like a French breakfast. Bread from a local baker which was sometimes really good but sometimes a little dry, homemade jams which were lovely, juice, and yoghurt which violette made herself, and hot drinks. Personally I like either some vegetables, fresh fruit, meat, or cereal at breakfast, but the property is in France and that's not a normal part of breakfast there! The first night other guests disturbed my sleep with noise, although that's no fault of the host, and I didn't knock to ask them to be quite, which I should have. Generally the house and neighbourhood was quiet - the doors could be a bit creaky but it didn't affect my sleep.
