Bosphorus Hotel Al Salam

I originally booked Le Bosphorus Al Madinah 2 and was upgraded to Le Bosphorus Al Madinah 1. When I later extended my stay, the team very kindly upgraded me again, this time to Bosphorus Waqf Al Safi. The first upgrade was a lovely surprise, and being upgraded again when I extended was an especially generous touch. The reception staff were consistently friendly, professional and quick to help. Communication was also very good. The hotel contacted me on WhatsApp before arrival to confirm the expected arrival time, location etc, and when I asked whether an earlier check-in at Waqf Al Safi might be possible, they were able to accommodate it, which I really appreciated. The housekeeping staff were also very polite. Both Bosphorus Al Madinah 1 and Waqf Al Safi were very conveniently located for Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. For me, walking at a fairly quick pace, it was around five minutes to the mosque gate. There were plenty of useful things nearby too, including grocery/convenience shops and pharmacies. At Bosphorus Al Madinah 1 there was also a fast-food/takeaway place directly outside, which was handy when I wanted something quickly. HungerStation deliveries generally arrived very fast as well, so there was a much wider choice of restaurants from across Madinah. Wifi was very fast and I also found the same-day dry-cleaning service particularly useful. I ended up extending my stay beyond what I had originally booked, which probably says more than anything else.

Everything was fine

The proximity to the Masjid Nabawi which is a short walk away. The housekeeping staff were extremely helpful and kind. The front desk staff accommodated my disability and provided me with a first floor room, made bookings for my nephew an ordered me supper. I enjoyed my one week stay.

At times it was hard to communicate with the front desk as they were not fluent in the English language but still helpful alhamdulilah specially Manar.

Value for money

No one help us to check in and check out No one bothered, no welcome. Receptionist was very inexperienced and can't speak English. I had taken all my luggages to room
