Small but comfortable flat. The flat was clean. We had everything we needed. The host was super polite and helpful. The check in and check out are easy. It was a great experience for our family.
The only thing we did not like was extra tax we had to pay.
The price on the booking stated “all taxes included” we paid and thought that it was all. However, when we arrived we had to pay an extra city tax, for 3 adults+1 kid we paid 34,5€.
For us it was unexpected, and it would be better if that tax was announced to be paid on the site while booking. So that we did not have feeling that we are overcharged.

The apartment is very clean and well-maintained. Communication with the host was easy and straightforward. It is located in a quiet and peaceful part of Trieste. It's about a 15-minute walk to the train station and around a 30-minute walk to the city center.
It would have been much more comfortable if the living room had a standard sofa or something similar. Instead, there is a single bed, which isn't practical if you want to relax during the day. It has no backrest, so you can't really sit back and unwind comfortably.
Also, the check-in time is quite late (4:00 PM), while the check-out is very early. You have to leave the apartment by 9:00 AM. We were aware of this in advance, of course, but it would have been appreciated if the host had been a bit more flexible, especially for guests traveling from far away.

La posizione
Non molto comfortevole. Letto che cigolava ad ogni movimento, cuscini inesistente e forno a microonde non funzionante.
