The lady running it is absolutely lovely. The location is great for restaurants on the island in the evening. The view.....its beautiful. OK for a few nights.

The noise of dogs barking through the night. The drain smell and the critters from the cupboard in the bathroom. Mattresses need replacing. The floor and shower really needed cleaning after 3 days at the beach.

The hotel was in front of the beach so you get a very nice view and since it is located on the north shore, the water is very calm and very nice to swim in. The host, Nubia, was very sweet and was very helpful. She also gave us her recommendations while we were on the island. The room was bigger than in pictures and was very clean. It is honestly very cheap for the quality and the service of the room. I would definitely recommend this place.

The network in this part of the island was not good so we had to rely on the hotel’s wifi but it was still slow

Wonderful hostess who gave us tips on where to go and what to do. Beautiful location, 5 min walk to a pulperia and a small beach with wonderful snorkeling right there! We had delicious seafood at Comedor Maris next door, and liked it so much we went back a second night for rundown. Plus a quick cab ride to Arenas Beach for sunset. Overall we had a wonderful time!

I don't think there was wifi, or if so we didn't have a password. But it wasn't really an issue because we were only there a couple days and didn't need it.

Very nice view, nice breeze with windows open, appliances in working condition, friendly host, close proximity to beach, stores, bar/restaurants, etc.

STAY AWAY - I had my belongings stolen from inside the room. It was clearly an inside job as the room was accessed by a key. When I asked the owners about it, it was suddenly my fault that my things were stolen. The old lady became very aggressive towards me and was very rude. I couldn’t believe it as it was me who had just had things stolen. Very disappointing as this tainted my whole trip to Nicaragua/ the Corn Islands. Even the local police agreed that it must be an inside job - probably a family member of the hotel owner.

Host is very friendly. She arranged a taxi to do a village tour. There are a couple of restaurants close by. Nice view of the ocean. Can see Little Corn Island in a distance.

Great place to stay on big corn island! Stunning view, rooms are bright, nice and clean and the kitchen is well equipped.

I enjoyed my stay at Ocean View for 2 nights. The owner was a great host and made sure I was extra comfortable during my stay, given I was travelling alone. I really felt at home and would highly recommend as a safe, spacious, clean apartment with an incredible view. o

The room was clean/comfortable and in a nice location - although it’s quite far away from restaurants etc so you will need to get a taxi.

The host is very rude. We can only speak little Spanish and she spoke no English, which is fine but instead of being helpful and using like hand gestures or re-phrasing something to use more commonly know Spanish words she just would re-peat the same sentence and stare at me with attitude. We went to connect to the WiFi to use Translate and I asked where the password was and she just pointed me to a corner in her living room. There were loads of numbers on the box which didn’t make it clear which one was the password so I asked two times for help and instead of just coming over and pointing to the right one she stood at the other end of the room and proceeded to say the same thing in Spanish. It was just really unhelpful things like that that could have been made so much easier if she was helpful and lost all of her attitude. I would never stay here again or recommend it purely because of the host. The room/location was fine.

The kitchen was great and the room looked quite new. The view on the ocean is great and there are some chairs outside to enjoy the breeze.

Maybe I would recommend changing the towels, some of them have permanent stains.

one of our favorite stays i Nicaragua super clean, fully stocked kitchen very bright with many windows and two fans comfy beds and nice pillows amazing balcony to chill on and look out at the beautiful turquoise caribnean sea . we spent a lot of time on the balcony no sea grass at all during our stay. just in front of the apartment we could swim.on beautiful beach excellent snorkeling directly across street ( or walk to victorias jump in and drift back to the apartment we saw sharks, rays and tons of cool fish nice breeze all the time so it never felt too hot we srayed 6 nights and we could have fresh towels and a room.clean every 3 days
