This home has a fantastic view of the lake. The lake is beautiful and very clean. Nearby Cave City was very run down. The home needs a deep clean, and some upkeep. But overall we enjoyed it.

The house was right on the lake with dock access. It fit 10 comfortably and was well-stocked for our stay. Although we lost power from a severe storm a few hours after we checked in, we had a great time. The hosts came to check on us, as we lost all mobile data and they could not contact us. There was plenty to do in the area to keep 8 kids occupied while we were without power for most of our stay. We hope to stay again in the future.

We really enjoyed the quiet and the house. It was well-stocked, clean, with a great outdoor area and a nice view of the lake. It was great for dogs too; the house was spacious, high tables, couches that don't collect hair. Things to be aware of: The neighborhood was a little run down, with some loose dogs (they seemed harmless), so be sure to keep your dogs on a tight leash. BUT neighbors seemed friendly and minded their own business, so I didn't feel unsafe. It is pretty remote and a bit of a drive through the country, but that is to be expected to get that kind of privacy. We drove about 40 min to see Dinosaur World and Mammoth Cave for a couple fun, easy day trips. Overall a really peaceful and enjoyable trip!

Everything was clean, well provided for, great amenities, and the view seemed to be the best on that road of homes. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at the lake house with our 3 teens, grandma and grandpa and 2 dogs. The house was fully stocked plus more! We just couldn't get over the incredible views. Getting to the dock is quite an adventure- especially since there's a few stairs missing at the very bottom but it didn't stop us. However, my mom, who has ankle and knee issues could not make the trek down which was unfortunate. The dock does need refinished but I walked on it barefoot and was fine- no splinters! The hot tub was perfect and easy to hop in and out of. It's so quiet there and peaceful. The neighborhood is definitely not managed by an HOA lol but it was fine and we felt safe- there are just some junky trailers/properties speckled throughout. Coincidentally we ran into the owners at the Mexican restaurant in town and they were very nice. Would definitely come back and stay again if we went to Mammoth Cave again which btw is worth the trip!

Everything about this Vrbo was wonderful. It was a stunningly beautiful property that overlooked Nolan Lake. The home was clean and exactly as advertised. Despite slightly chilly temperatures, we spent a lot of time outdoors in the hot tub, on the property, and grilling. It was just a short drive to the National Park, State Park, and other nearby attractions. We had a perfect week, and really enjoyed staying here. The owner was very personable and helpful in quickly replying to my inquiries. I definitely recommend this property.

Great Lake view, short drive to Mammoth Cave, plenty of room for our 4 adults and 4 kids.

We stayed for my best friends bachelorette and it was perfect! We used the hot tub, grill and fireplace. It’s really spacious and the back deck area looking over the lake is beautiful. We were all talking about coming back in the summer with our kids! It was a great weekend getaway!

Overall communication was great and the owners were very nice. However, this property needs some work. The first night we were there my brother went to take his dog for a walk and used the stairs to go down to the ground level, the second step completely collapsed. The dog fell completely to the ground and my brother landed hard on his knee on the 3rd step. The owners were quick to repair but we did not feel safe using the deck after that. The inside of the house was nice and we enjoyed the rest of our stay but like I said the deck needs a lot of work.

We had 4 adults and 5 kids ranging from 13-5months and we fit just perfectly. The kitchen was nice and equipt with most everything we needed to cook nice family meals. The hot tub was a great early morning/ later evening relaxing time since it's getting cooler. The weather was rainy one of our days we stayed but the back deck was perfect for spending time together. We did however have trouble with the internet the entire time we were there but the owner was quick to try to get it fixed. Would love to come back sometime and stay again.

Overall a nice place to stay. The decking needs some work and grounds need cleaned up. Plus the kitchen utensils need replaced. Other than that we had fun and provided a nice place to stay.

Beautiful quiet location close to Mammoth Caves. Main road was closed for the week we were visiting to the caves so had to take a 30 minute detour. House had a beautiful view and loved swimming in the lake. Would highly recommend!

The owner was great, communicative and accommodating. This was my first time to Nolan Lake, Mammoth Cave National Park area and I was surprised how scabby most of the homes in the area were. Luckily, it was just me and one of my sons as I don' think my wife would have been comfortable staying in the area.

We had a wonderful time. The lake was beautiful and the house had everything we needed. My kids fished and swam in the lake. The deck was so relaxing. I could stay all summer.

My family and I had an amazing time here. Check-in and out was very easy. Everything was exactly what we expected/wanted and then some!!!!! The host was very accommodating and responded to questions quickly. We will definitely be back!

Excellent time!

Seven of us stayed comfortably here with room for others. The property is beautiful. The view off the back porch of the lake is gorgeous. Amazing outdoor area with a bar, grill, hot tub, fire pit, and access to the lake with a dock. There are about 50 stairs down to the water which you can see in the pictures, so don't recommend if you have difficulty with stairs. They had plenty of dishes and things to utilize for cooking, which I find not all places provide. We highly recommend and didn't want to leave! Already considering coming back again.

Everyone had fun from jumping off the dock to swimming in the lake, kayaking and fishing or just relaxing on the deck. The stairs were a little rough on us old folks with arthritis but we still all enjoyed ourselves and had the hot tub to help ease the aches. The eight of us were very comfortable and didn’t feel crowded at all.

The lake is the best part, but the house is perfect—space to spread out or be together, comfortable beds, all the comforts of home. Responsive hosts who set up everything to be seamless. Highly recommended.

What a lovely lake house! The view (especially in spring, before trees have leafed out) and porch were perfect for our getaway. The proximity to Mammoth Cave National Park (about 20-35 minutes, depending on if you use the Green River Ferry or not) was very helpful, as that was our main attraction while in the area. Nearby Brownsville had a great grocery store, and Sailings Gas & Grocery (5 mins) had our last minute needs. Jackie was extremely helpful and responsive to any inquiry, concern, or recommendation. She was always "at the ready" and left us a welcome basket. The hot tub was wonderful after our hikes/time in the cave! We appreciated that our dog was very welcome, as well. Thanks for such a BEAUTIFUL home & location, Jackie!
