The location- 5 minutes from the harbour. Modern kitchen with washing/dryer machine, induction hob, oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The interior paintwork had been refreshed this year. Apart from the toilet the cottage was very clean. Basic food ingredients like condiments and cooking oil were supplied. Instructions manuals for all the kitchen appliances are kept in a folder. The cottage is dog friendly and full of character.

No bed linen or tea towels were provided and we were not told to bring anything except our own towels. The toilet needed a good clean to remove the limescale. A bath mat and possibly a shower mat needs to be provided to help prevent guests slipping or falling in the bathroom. Guests would benefit if they were informed about where the manuals are kept that have instructions on how to operate the kitchen appliances. The balcony needed a sweep to remove the moss that birds had dropped and the garden furniture looked very neglected.

Very good location in the centre of the village. Spacious accommodation and dog friendly. Comfortably accommodates four but no more. Bathroom and kitchen looked like they jave recently been updated

This accommodation does not have private parking. A car park is immediately behind the property and costs £8 per day, more than we were advised. The property is also on a busy narrow road and care is needed when exiting the house ( note, this is not uncommon in the village). Also on arrival the windows and balcony were very dirty so we had to clean them The living room needs updating.

It was perfectly positioned and very close to the carpark. Also found it very quiet and slept well but we were staying in September, and after the schools went back, so unsure what it might be like in high season. The kitchen/diner was large and well fitted.

Downstairs the kitchen had very limited glassware, tiny wine glasses and the cups/mugs needed washing. It was very dark downstairs in the sitting room and felt rather depressing. Upstairs the main bedroom had no main light, no bulb, which, when looking at the guest book previous guests had mentioned some time ago but this remained unfixed. I hate leaving negative reviews actually but honestly think the whole place felt simply unloved and if just a few hundred pounds were spent on it: new glassware, new shower and shower rail and better lighting then reviews would be more favourable in the future.
