Nonna Ia B&B

Once the initial problem was resolved, the rest of our stay was excellent. We were given a lovely replacement apartment nearby at no extra cost. We particularly enjoyed the included breakfast and the café itself. The owner and staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, and we developed a lovely rapport with them. One member of staff was especially helpful in recommending beaches based on the daily weather conditions.

Unfortunately, our stay began badly. The apartment we had booked had an overpowering sewage smell, making it impossible for us to stay there. Initially, the manager seemed to downplay the problem, explaining that she had cleaned and used bleach, and suggesting we try staying there and let her know. We made it clear straight away that we could not sleep in those conditions. Thankfully, after speaking with the owner, she arranged an excellent alternative apartment nearby at no additional cost and subsequently apologised, explaining that she had only become aware of the problem that day. It was a very disappointing start, but we genuinely appreciated how the situation was ultimately resolved.
