Das Haus hat ausreichend große Räume für zwei Paare oder eine Familie. In der Küche ließ sich gut kochen und neben der Küche war ein schönes Esszimmer. Sehr gediegen und ansprechend die Holzböden und die alte Holztreppe ins Obergeschoss. Fehlende Untensilien wurden sofort von der netten Alexandra vorbeigebracht, wie auch einen zweiten Haustürschlüssel. Auch waren reichlich Putzmittel und eine Erstausstattung an Salz, Gewürzen usw. vorhanden. Das war alles prima!

Ein dicken Punktabzug gibt es aber für den Zustand der Küche. Die Wand zum Innenhof (Bereich Spüle) ist leider feucht und müsste dringend richtig saniert werden. Da nutzt auch das Trockensalz unter der Spüle und der Alkoholspray nichts, es schimmelt! Der Gasherd war klasse, aber gestört hat uns, dass die Abzugshaube lange nicht mehr richtig gereinigt worden ist. Da wir gerne selbst kochen, habe ich einige Zeit mit der Reinigung zugebracht. Und noch etwas, was uns das an sich nette Ferienhaus in Aveiros Altstadtlage verleidet hat, wofür die Vermieterin aber nichts kann. Uns hat das rücksichtslose Verhalten der Hundebesitzer, besonders die in der Nachbarschaft wohnenden, genervt. Das Hundgebell tagsüber, aber vor allem nachts, war eine Zumutung. Ebenso wie die Hinterlassenschaften, häufig direkt vor unserer Haustür. Aber wie gesagt, dafür gibt es keinen Punktabzug. Hundebesitzer stört das möglicherweise auch weniger.

Perfect location near the center but in a super quiet street. Nice house, old but yet clean and cozy, perfect decoration and equipped with everything you need to stay some days.

To say something, a washing machine would have helped. We had to bring the clothes to a washing service.

The house is very spacious (we were 2 couples) with a good sized kitchen and a separate dining room. 2 bathrooms and a toilet downstairs - great. The unit is well equipped and well decorated. We would love to stay again.

A wonderful place with a wonderful host. Even nicer and bigger than it appears on the photos. The patio is also a delight. :)

Location was central to the canals and a number of restaurants/cafes. we had a great time walking around and also did some cycling to the salt pans and beyond. The hosts were very responsive and the few glitches (lack of hot water, no water in cistern etc.) were responded very promptly.

Host was brilliant (thank you). Great house in excellent but quiet location. Plenty of space and nice homely feel to the house .

Alexandra, the owner's niece, met us at the property. She was very friendly and helpful. When we discovered that the cafetiere was broken, Alexandra went shopping - late Saturday evening - and bought a new one. The property itself was very clean, comfortable and stylish. And the kitchen knives were sharp! and there was a bread knife! These might sound like unimportant things but it gives a sense of the eye for detail.

This place is special. With lots of love and character. Would recommend to anyone. We had really good time.
