The room was at the back of the property, with windows on 2 different walls which allowed for a breeze to flow through the room. AC worked, but nice to have the breeze and listen to the many birds. Breakfast was very good; you are served an omelette with fruit, salad and help yourself to hot drinks, and as much bread products as you want; sourdough bread, bread with olives, sultans or wholemeal were some that I could work out. Owner’s English is very good, she is well travelled. On a quieter street, as a solo female traveller I felt safe walking home after the evening market and a meal out with new friends, returning late.

What a great place to stay! The rooms were perfect, the whole place was immaculately clean, the location was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was amazing! Because the place is also a bakery there is a selection of fresh bread (sourdough included) and banana bread each morning. Plus the smell of this baking each afternoon is a real treat. The eggs must have been prepared with real butter (as opposed to oils that were are used to normally getting) and this makes such a difference to the taste. We have been travelling around for 10 months now and have to say that this was one of the best places we’ve stayed. The quality you get for the price you pay doesn’t seem quite right and we would have been happy to pay more. We decided to leave a nice tip because of this and I would highly suggest doing the same if you have a similar great experience there. Highly recommended.

Great location, the breakfast was lovely and the staff went above and beyond, particularly the lady in charge I believe - she gave us both a bag of snacks for the slow boat to Laos the next day, including freshly baked goods. Thank you so much!

The shower was a little cold but it was actually a relief from the heat

Bad mit Dusche, Toilette, Waschbecken auf 2 qm. An und für sich in Ordnung, es dauert aber lange, bis der Boden nach dem Duschen wieder trocken ist.
