We had a very restful stay - fell in love with Stanley & surrounds - hope we are able to return again one day VERY soon

The fish factory next door was very very loud at 5am in the morning and our bed room was on that side. Forklift noise, ice machines and trucks!!!! to loud for any one to sleep.

Beautiful and very good sized and comfortable house overlooking the water. Well heated, lovely big bedrooms and lovely modern large bathrooms. Great living room. Good kitchen. easy walk into main street. Off street parking beside house. Quiet. no one wanted to leave. Good view of the Nut too.

Tracey was very lovely, very accommodating and helpful. The location was just amazing. Looking out into the water early morning was just beautiful.

On arrival if you wanted to book for a meal at the hotel it would have been nice to be notified

The views are great from the rooms - right on the foreshore. The parking was easy and the accommodation was close to everything

Room 1- There were no toaster or bowls provided to make breakfast, so you were forced to purchase breakfast. Just a fridge, cutlery, chopping board, glasses, and cups were provided. The bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable. There were only feather (soft and thin) pillows provided. The room is very small. Once you get two people and two suitcases in there, you really have a tight fit. Outside the window, on the foreshore, there was a pump that went all day and night. It was noisy, so you couldn't have your window open to hear the water lapping at night, as I would have liked. This also obstructed the view a little, unfortunately.

Stanley is a beautiful little town and the accommodation was magnificent. I would be happy to stay there at any time.

Easy to collect keys. Room ready early as well. Fantastic location and views.

Location was excellent, amenities were great, robes were a nice touch, overall ‘The Retreat’ was a wonderful place to stay.

The windows above and to the side of the bed need to have blockout blinds on them as there is a street light out the front that shines in these windows all night. The bed wasn’t overly comfortable.
