地理位置优越，离中心只有两个街区，出行、购物、饮食以及去湖边散步都很方便。 老板夫妇很热情，会不厌其烦地为你解答任何问题。对于来到陌生地方的游客，最大的帮助莫过于有人为你做详细的指引。老板很友好、乐观幽默，任何时候都充满笑容，另人愉悦。 早餐很丰盛，有牛奶、麦片、面包、鸡蛋、芝士、奶油、酸奶、水果、茶等，对储备一天的体力很有帮助。

The owners are so lovely and so helpful. They made me feel welcome and did their best to understand my very limited Spanish! They gave a lot of advice for my trip to Torres del Paine and provided me with a take-away breakfast when I had to catch the early bus. They also knocked at my door to wake me as my phone hadn't automatically adjusted to the time difference, so I would have missed my bus if not for their thoughtfulness! I had a private room and bathroom and it was a really nice stay before and after the hike. Breakfast was a good selection of food. Because I stayed two nights, the hostel looked after my suitcase for me so that I could leave things behind on my trek. Definitely recommend staying here, a lovely and warm place to stay in such an interesting corner of the world.

Nice, clean comfortable room and very pleasant, helpful owners. A great location too. If you're looking for a hostel in Puerto Natales this one is recommended. My wife had never stayed in a hostel before and was trepidacious but this one convinced her that hostels can be a great way to travel.

The value of Hostal Baquedano is unbeatable. I enjoyed the very clean room, bathroom, kitchen and dining area. It’s pretty quiet: I didn’t hear anything when I needed to go to sleep after my daily excursions to Torres Del Paine. The location is pretty central. I could walk for about 5 min to go to the downtown area. It’s easy to access groceries, restaurants and even fresh fruit stores on foot. People staying there are very polite and nice. Most importantly, the hostel is run by a family and they are super super nice and reliable! Before I went there, they referred me to a very good local travel agent, from which I booked 3 wonderful trekking tours. They also told me how to get exempt from the hotel VAT in Chile. They provided me with free breakfast boxes everyday as I went out about 6 am to go to the national park. The host pulled out a chair for me, and turned on the lights for me when I ate standing up as I was in a hurry. When I came back, the hosts cheered up for me! He could tell that I was doing too much and would feel happy for me if I enjoyed the trekking. This made me feel I was not in a strange place with no family and friends. The hosts were like my friends. He also helped me to decide which bus to take to go to Punta arenas airport, and called a taxi for me in the early morning. I recommend Hostal Baquedano without reservation!
