Laurel Lodge

It`s great for solo walkers on the Viking Way such as myself as it`s only about 100m from the Viking Way just north of Horncastle. From the accommodation its probably a 15 minute walk into the town centre but on good, well lit payments. I didn`t have an en-suite bath/shower room in my budget single room but there was an en-suite WC and this was reflected in what I paid for the room which I thought represented good value for money. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and enjoyed the excellent breakfast in the morning.

Good location nice and quite good parking clean comfy and a brilliant host never tried the breakfast I left to even so she offered couldn’t do enough for me 👍

Nothing

Bottles or water were provided in the room. I had bought some water, not wanting to be caught with nothing to drink after a long physical day getting dehydrated. Breakfast was made and brought to the breakfast room exactly at the agreed time. Everything was clean, and you couldn't really wish for more, especially at that price point.

The en-suite was very small, and the basin was difficult to wash anything other than hands. However, the shower worked great and had a constant temperature.

Good location. Secure cycle storage.

Hostess not particularly welcoming. Bedroom supplies not topped up. 2 of 3 Breakfast cereal boxes were almost empty.
