The kitchen is in the private room, I am not sure if it could be used or not, the facility looks very old. I didn't eat dinner here, but the owner said I could eat with them but need to pay 350RS Family is good, but they lack privacy concept for customers.

They lack privacy concept for customers. I was sleeping in the morning, but the owner knocked on my door hard and woke me up, I thought is something wrong so open the door, BUT!!!! She brought a couple to show the room to them. That is really un-respect the customers staying in the room, it's not the check-out time, I was sleeping!!! And she woke me up and broke into my room just want to show the room for other customers. This is the most awful experience I have ever had in Booking.com

On my first stay in Asia, Sara en Sudan received me with the typical Nepali hospitality and made me feel part of their family. They introduced me into their culture and provided me with all the means to explore it further. There was plenty of delicious food!

The location is very convenient, in a quiet and nice neighborhood. We can reach center city walking. The room was comfortable, and the kitchen was very useful not to be dependant on the restaurants. Shower with hot water : amazing! We enjoyed also the small balcony. Very nice welcome from Sara :D

I like everything , everyone in short but in specific the behaviour ,food , their support for information and other stuffs .

Basic Amenities Like Water bottle, Towel, Tissue paper are not their. In a wash room their is no water. I had Disappointed stay over their.

It was cheap and clean and the WiFi was good when the power wasn't out.

Like in a lot of place in Nepal, people smoke everywhere. The smoking area was right next to our room so it smelled cigarette a lot, which is discussing if you don't smoke to be honest. Also, the mattress was really hard and the kitchen could have more ustensiles.

We liked our stay at Sara's hostel, area is not touristic, so we met and learnt local side of Kathmandu. We liked Sara's husband Südan, we enjoyed his company, he shared a lot of useful and interesting ideas with us. Hotel has a terrace to enjoy the view of the neighborhood.

We got a room with kitchen and separated bathroom. Bathroom is tiny and located outside so that you have to walk outside first before coming to the room after shower. And kitchen is inside the room, so whenever you cook inside it keeps the smell.

- walls are really not soundproof and it was busy and loud early in the morning. take your earplugs! - not so many options where to eat around - laundry for 200 NR per kilo (two times more than at places around) - all the building feels very cold 🥶
