Our host Con went out of his way to make us feel at home. He had organized glutenfree and lactosefree breakfast options before we arrived, provided super helpful information, and even gave us a lift to the wedding we attended. The apartment is very cozy, had everything we needed, and was spotless. We can recommend staying in The Village Rooms without hesitation.

I like the fact that it was well equipped and there in the fridge to help ourselves for breakfast.
I didn’t find the bed very comfortable, the mattress was squashy and the duvet was too heavy

Great location as we were at a wedding at Darver Castle just up the road.
That it was a flat.

It’s perfect for the two of us. Everything we needed. Clean, tidy, warm and felt spacious. We would have liked to stay longer. Good to have parking as well.
Everything about this place is great.
