I had a really great stay at Lila Loka Homestay. The room was spacious, comfortable and very good value for the price. The shared facilities were also a big plus: there are two outdoor kitchens, two swimming pools, and even a small shop on site which was really convenient. I also really appreciated that they provide free drinking water from large refill containers — such a useful and thoughtful touch. A huge shoutout to the staff as well. They were always very responsive, helpful and happy to answer all my questions or help with anything I needed. I once mentioned seeing a small animal/insect in the room, which turned out to be a little gecko, and they still immediately tried to help me. Overall, this is definitely a place I would come back to. For the price and quality, I honestly have very little to complain about.

Nothing major. The street leading to the homestay is quite dark at night because there aren’t many lights, so it can feel a little intimidating when walking back after dark. I also saw a small gecko once, but this is quite normal in Bali, especially as part of the bathroom is open to the outdoors, so it didn’t really bother me.

I honestly couldn’t recommend Lila Loka Homestay enough! 🤍 I stayed in four different places during my 20+ days in Bali, and Lila Loka was by far, without a doubt, the best one. The cleanliness was absolutely amazing, honestly, it was at the same level as my own home, which made me feel so comfortable and relaxed throughout my entire stay. They cleaned our room every single day without exception, and everything was always spotless and fresh. Unlike many other places we stayed in Bali, we had both hot water and really good water pressure, which made such a difference. The location is also fantastic, very central and convenient. The atmosphere of the hotel is so cute and peaceful. There are two swimming pools, and both were such a lovely place to relax. Somehow, we didn’t see a single insect or lizard in our room during our stay, which I really appreciated! I’m guessing they do a great job with pest control. 🥹 But what really made the experience special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. They responded to every message and every request and were always happy to help us with anything we needed. A huge thank you to the entire Lila Loka team for making our stay so lovely and comfortable. 🤍 We truly appreciated everything you did for us and would absolutely stay here again! 10/10. highly recommended! ✨

Room and communal areas were kept very clean and tidy. I appreciated the no-nonsense check in process and lack of any bother during my stay.

The only issue was that the WiFi struggled to reach my room so I ended up spending more on travel data because I couldn’t call home on the wifi. It did reach but the signal was weak and intermittent.

Sehr zentral gelegen, aber trotzdem ruhig in einer Seitenstraße. Es gab einen Wasserspender mit Trinkwasser und das Zimmer und Bad war sauber und hat nicht unangenehm gerochen. Die Pools waren super zum Erfrischen! Das Gepäck konnte man problemlos nach dem Checkout dort lagern, bevor es für uns in den nächsten Ort ging.

Die Tür war schwer zu schließen, da sich das Holz verzogen hat. Zu Beginn war die Unterkunft recht schwer zu finden, da sie auf Google Maps nicht ganz akkurat lokalisiert ist.
