STUNNING views. Absolutely unbelievable location and views. The gate was amazing to keep folks on the trail from wandering too close to our private area. Sleeping to the sound of the sea lapping against the cliff side was spectacular. The host is absolutely wonderful; she owns an AMAZING restaurant next door and was kind enough to make reservations for us one night. Spectacular responsiveness and cleanliness. 10/10 recommend, BOOK THIS. You will not be disappointed as pictures don’t do justice.

A little lacking privacy as the walking path is adjacent. Smells in bathroom from the plumbing. Very steep staircase.

This place exceeded our expectations. The view is stunning, and the apartment is unique. The area is quiet. The hostess put extra touches into the place that made our stay even better. She was accommodating and quick to respond to questions. She also has a restaurant next door and the food is delicious.

Absolutely everything was lovely! Felt like we had the best room in town! Views were stunning over the sea. Short walk to swim. Host provided beach towels! Three outside seating options complete with outdoor shower and blankets for late night lounging or early morning coffee. Communication with owner was great. She texted us every morning to let us know what walking trails were open. She also owns a restaurant beside the property. Host was kind enough to squeeze us in! Such an overall wonderful place to stay!

This is such a special, one of a kind place! The decor gives you the feeling of being on a boat and since when you look out of the windows all you see is the beautiful blue waters of the Med it is decorated perfectly! The location absolutely can not be beat! Cold Prosecco in the fridge upon arrival along with milk for our coffee the next morning were just two of the perks you get from this host. This place is not for everyone, with the steep stairs but if you are able to navigate them then do not miss out on this place. Silvia was an amazing host. She texted us daily information about the area and checked in multiple times to make sure our stay was perfect. When we asked her where to purchase more of the coffee pods, instead of telling us where, she simply brought more over. Do not forget to book your reservation at Ristorante L'Ancora della Tortuga. This Michelin starred restaurant is owned by Silvia and is just 20 steps from your door. The food was amazing!

Everything was perfect. Don’t think any accomodation in Cinque Terre could beat that view!! Can’t wait to come back.

There was nothing to fault. The wifi didn’t work for us but we didn’t need it anyway!

It doesn’t get any better ! Fantastic accommodation situated spectacular by the sea. 3 fantastic terraces located around the house- all with fantastic view to the sea and the beautiful landscape around Monterosso Al Mare. The interior of the house is sublime with an beautiful maritime an authentic style. Everything is close- beautiful beach, nice restaurants and shops where local food and souvenirs can be purchased- right between the old and new part of town. The four other towns in Cinque Terre are easily reached by train- the station is 5 minutes walk away. This I absolutely a must on the bucket list 👍🏻 A big thank you to Silvia for making such a beautiful place that made our holiday perfect- we felt very special and welcome- we will definitely be back ❤️🇮🇪

The location is absolutely unbeatable. The tiny house offers almost everything you could want and Silvia‘s restaurant next door is fabulous.

The sheets on the bed wouldn’t stay on the bed with any movement you were sleeping on the plastic liner underneath. Would be nice to have access to clean towels after 2 days as we tracked in a lot of sand/pebbles from the beach making the towels dirty. A written guidebook of personal suggested tours/ attractions would be a nice touch. I hated to bother Silvia for questions like that as I had the feeling she was quite busy.

The location and the views are exceptional. Especially waking up with the sea all around you is incredible. The apartment has everything you need and is very clean.

I absolutely loved this place. The hostess was amazing and the views speak for themselves. It is a little out of the centre so not noisy, I really hope to be back.

The steps up and down to the bathroom are something to be aware of, they are quite steep so if you have any mobility concerns I recommend having it in consideration. The bathroom is downstairs and I slipped once trying to navigate my way to a 2am wee in the dark, and I have no such concern. Otherwise I couldn't fault the place or the amazing hostess.

We loved everything about this property!! The nicest place we have ever stayed! It was impeccable and the views were simply magnificent…would definitely stay there again and recommend to others. The owner also has a restaurant next door and the food was one of our best meals in Italy. Loved it!!

We loved everything about this property and it is very special and magical! We enjoyed every moment there. The location is perfect, facing the beach side (the only beach in Cinque Terre), and is perfect for sunset. This is definitely the best property in Monterosso al Mare! The host Silvia was very kind and provided so many extra information and was super helpful. I would recommend this property to all my friends.

The location is excellent. The views are beyond compare. The terraces are perfect! The property itself is just incredible and unlike anywhere we’ve ever been. Silvia has done an amazing job with this unique property. And she owns the restaurant just a few steps away that ended up being our favorite restaurant in Italy.

A postcard-pretty, truly unique waterside property in the heart of Monterosso. La Casa Del Doganiere is a luxury mini villa, suitable for two persons. It has multiple terraces and views are incredible; sunrises and sunsets over the sea. The cottage was spotless and very well maintained. It had everything we needed. Despite the heatwave, the air condition worked brilliantly. Our three nights stay was amazing, and we would not hesitate to recommend this property. We quickly found the main hiking paths and beaches. Needless to say that I would like to go back.

The location is breathtaking. Literally right beside the Mediterranean. For the location and the views it is a great value. The perfect place to relax.

Lots of foot traffic behind, and above the property…which can sacrifice some privacy. But overall one of the nicest places you can stay in Cinque Terre. Silvia is a tremendous host, and you must dine at her restaurant located steps from this property.
