Good choice of breakfast and pantry supplies. Downstairs rumpus room a great additional space.

Pillows could have been better. No top sheets were provided for bunk beds.

Location

Front railing is dangerously and rotting causing me to fall. No aircon in the two front rooms

Friendly and inviting feel. Loved the table tennis table. Well stocked kitchen utensils. Comfortable deck. Good communication from hosts.

Kids’ bedroom got very hot and stuffy at night and was right next to the main living space.

It had sufficient bedrooms and off street parking. Kitchen well appointed with every implement you could need.

This is a cold house in winter. 8hours of the single AC unit on 32degrees on most powerful fan setting finally took the chill off the bedrooms’ air. For an extended period we all had our down jackets on. Fortunately there are electric blankets. The house may be a blissful temperature in summer (though the bedrooms would possibly get quite warm), but we were there in winter. When asked if there were more heaters we were told it’s never been an issue: perhaps we 4 were a little wimpy. I also have issue with hosts who expect all rubbish to be bagged, put in bins outside, and for the bins to be put out for collection. We are not expected to do this in hotels nor motels, and this place is not a cheap stay.
