We wish we stayed more than 1 night here. The Gables was beautiful and very relaxing. Very nicely located close to town but not in town which we loved.

I did struggle to sleep some - not sure if it was the bed or the nearby road but that was my only issue

The property was clean and spacious and check in was easy.

The mattresses in all four bedrooms were extremely uncomfortable with springs coming through. A good nights sleep is the most important thing and this was a complete fail. None of our party were able to have a good nights sleep. There was a shortage of pillows which made it even more uncomfortable experience. one very flat pillow per person - also a failure. Three towels to shower with is poor when there are 4 double bedrooms and 8 people staying. The person showering last has absolutely no chance of having a dry towel. Another failure. Every bedroom has animal floor coverings. The owner needs to be more aware that many people will hate this. No mirrors in any bedroom and lack of bedroom furniture are smaller issues.

Loads of space with lots of bathrooms per bedroom. Really clean and lots of facilities available in the house for cooking cleaning etc. Good location just opposite Laghey village.

The house was the perfect location to visit our friends who live in Laghey.

The Gables is a lovely spacious 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house, set in lovely elevated gardens. This house is just so well located! Close to castles, beaches, Donegal town Bundoran etc. It's a really good base for exploring the area and you'll find everything you might need in this well-equipped property. Booking and check in were easy thanks to Patricia's regular communications. Definitely recommend a visit.

Short on wardrobes.

I stayed at the gables with family for a family wedding in lough erske castle which was situated 6 miles away .The house was so spacious,clean and comfortable for us all was very to handy to the town aswell.The host was very good on keeping us informed of everything throughout our staying I'm booking again for next year .

I have no complaints here .

The place was really good, brought my service user from work for her first holiday. She enjoyed it very well and was very comfortable, would definitely book here again in the future.
