The place is very basic, but the lack of hot water and WiFi is compensated for by its very convenient location within walking distance of the caves. Food is available for a fee and is also basic, but perfectly adequate. I ate most of the time at the restaurant near the cave site.

The communal areas are partly open-plan, which meant that cicadas were constantly flying around the lights in the evening. They not only scared the hell out of me, but made quite a lot of noise as well. Compared with other hotels and homestays I have stayed in during the past six months, I also think drinking water could have been provided free of charge. The WiFi is unreliable, although that is probably to be expected in such a remote location.

location
