Pinto Hostel

Nice, modern-looking building that feels quite new and well maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a fridge available. The living room is also quite nice. There isn’t really a dedicated dining room, but they’ve created a few spaces where you can sit and have your meals. I’d say the location is one of the biggest positives. It’s right by Ratchathewi BTS station, and Phaya Thai station is also nearby, which is especially convenient for getting to and from the airport. A light breakfast is included, and they also provide free snacks throughout the day, such as cookies and crackers, along with orange juice, coffee, tea and milk. Pretty nice perks! The hostel has three floors, with plenty of showers and restrooms, so I never felt like I had to wait. The rooms have A/C, and the Wi-Fi is reliable.

I’d say there is still some room for improvement, although these might be only small details for some of you. It would have been nice to have some fruit with breakfast, even just one piece or a small fruit basket. The mattresses are on the firm side, and I also found the pillows quite firm. Personally, I would have preferred something a little softer. Dorm #2 had a noticeable humidity/mold-like smell. I reported it two days in a row, as it didn’t seem like the issue was being investigated. The other dorms I saw didn’t have the same smell, so it seemed to be specific to that room.

Nice clean hostel in the middle of everything. It is also very close to the Phaya Thai station. You can go there from the airport and just walk a block until you’re there. Staff is very nice and you get water and coffee and cookies for free. Good bed, toilet, shower.

Overall, it's a good hostel. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was available for use, and the bathrooms were very clean.

I had an unpleasant experience sharing a room with two men who were not very hygienic. Since the room on the top floor has its own bathroom, it made the situation feel quite intimate—you could hear everything. I really wish this room had been designated as a women-only room.
