Please note, there is no air conditioning in the only indoor communal area, only the bedrooms have AC. There is also no air-conditioning in the kitchen, so we generally had to choose between being hot or getting eaten by mosquitoes. Please also note there is no washing machine at this house, we had hoped to be able to wash our clothes before returning home. The house appears much larger in the photos than in person. Almost all of the square footage listed is referring to the outside of the house, and not indoor living space which was actually rather small. We couldn’t tell from the photos, but there is a house a few feet away on the right side of the house which limits privacy, and we could hear noise/people talking throughout the day. You can see directly into this house from parts of the living room. I think the most shocking part, there’s no real lighting in the only living room space. The lights only dim, so reading a book or having a video call with our family, or even eating dinner was almost impossible because the lights are so low in the living room in the evening when it is dark outside. The listing says that an airport shuttle is included, but you will need to pay for a taxi or transport from the airport. Taxis charge approximately 15 USD for the four minute journey. Our first night, it began raining, and someone ran into the living room while we were sitting there and threw the outdoor cushions inside the living room. We were quite startled, and those cushions remained in the living room for our nine day stay, even though there was no rain for the last six days which is really odd. The cushions never made it back to the loungers by the pool either. Because you cannot close the doors to the kitchen or the living room because there is no AC, we found them filled with mosquitoes, which made it difficult for my husband to really enjoy the space.

From the moment we arrived in the villa, we were blown away! This villa has a gorgeous lap pool and sunken jacuzzi with stunning views of Chaweng beach which I really love! I was impressed with how accommodating and hospitable the staff were as they made sure that me and my family were taken care of. The food even exceeded my expectations, so much better than luxury resorts! In addition, the villa is just near the Wat Phra Yai and Wat Plai Laem temples, which my family and I definitely enjoyed! If you are planning for a getaway with your family or friends, I highly recommend this villa!
