Antoperla Luxury Hotel & Spa - featuring the New Antoperla Adults Only Wing

Great location, super clean. The staff was perfect, very welcoming and kind. The hotel is in the middle of every thing one needs to enjoy a relaxing stay : spa, beach, good restaurants.

The location was top notch. A 3 minute walk to the beach. The hotel provided beach chairs via their sister property. The property overall and the room were great, as were the breakfast, pool and spa facilities. We enjoyed a massage as well which was done by friendly and able staff. In addition, access to the bus for travel to Fira was a breeze -- 2 minute walk down the street. Really hard to beat.

Our room was a loft with a second level. The design of the curved ceiling and the placement of the stairs was such that we all (4 of us) bumped our head pretty hard on the ceiling when we went up to the loft. The ceiling should have some markings to make it more visible especially because of the smooth round shape. We were also surprised and somewhat dismayed that the hotel did not provide complementary bottled water when the tap water is not potable. We had to buy and carry bottled water from the local market. It wasn't impossible, but an unnecessary hassle that I would not expect of a 5-star property. The cost of the water for our 1 week stay was probably 10E.

Location was great , staff pretty much not that friendly , facilities definitely needed upgrading to the size of the property, most drinks at the bar weren’t available as you would image for a five star luxury hotel , and the breakfast buffet was cold every morning ,

Not enough sunbeds for the amount of people staying there , even though you can use the sister hotel up the street not enough there either , our jacuzzi was unusable from Saturday 24th due to a storm and dust , the patio area was cleaned the next day but the jacuzzi wasn’t and it wasn’t very pleasurable sitting out there after this as the beams overhead where full of dust and water , we did report this on the Saturday night and asked for a cloth so we could at least clean the table and chairs so we could sit out there , we where told under no circumstances where we to clean it ourselves and they would send someone , no one came until the normal cleaning the next day where the patio area was cleaned , jacuzzi wasn’t cleaned at all for the next few days , we did report this on our departure to which the manger said we should have come and reported it to him , we explained we had reported it to the girl on the desk at the time and what we where told ie they’d send someone I have enclosed photos as it really did put a damper on our last few days ,it wasn’t a pretty site , I have stayed in 2 3 and 4 star accommodation that was way beyond this , it wasn’t very relaxing as we taught .
