Condo exactly as posted, very clean, had everything we needed, awesome location. Hiking right out your front door with trails starting at the Stagecoach lift right outside. Loved it.

Great property with simple parking and easy access to lifts. Property was quiet at night, extremely comfortable, and outfitted well in terms of kitchen items. The living room had a great fireplace that warmed the whole living area. Great for hanging out and relaxing after a day of skiing. The owner is easily accessible and highly accommodating. He did everything he could to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

The cabin is well maintained and clean, with great stock in the kitchen for cooking at home, blankets for snuggling on the couch, and a great layout for a family with kids. Great communication with the owner, and convenient location close to stagecoach lift. The house is close to the heavenly base area and restaurants, and an easy drive to Emerald bay, beaches, and the airport. We had incredible weather in late March, great skiing and hiking all around. The house was perfect for our family of five, but easily would fit 3-4 more.
There are a lot of stairs as indicated- so get ready to get in your exercise! We loved our stay!

Good, but hot tub not as advertised and a little farther from the lift than advertised

This location was fantastic for our group of six who had different schedules throughout the week. Being slope adjacent allowed us to come and go w/o having to sync schedules. The rental had plenty of room and worked very well for us. Only downsides were no formal dining table (bars w/ stools worked fine) and the stairs up to the car (I get winded). Our host was very helpful, pleasant, and quick to respond. We very much loved the place and would totally stay there again.

Great ski trip
The location was perfect for getting on and off the mountain for three great days of skiing. We were able to go back to the property at lunch time to eat and relax before getting back on the mountain. Very comfortable with 4 adults and 4 kids.

Ski Trip
Great location for a ski trip to Heavenly! We didn’t have much snow so we couldn’t “ski out” but regardless was still a shorter walk that than if we drove to the parking lot. Would definitely stay there again!

Spacious, Clean, and Good Amenities
Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The property is spacious and it was nice having two levels. It had all of the amenities we needed. The snow wasn’t great so it was hard to get to the lift easily. There are also a lot of steps.

Wonderful
This place was amazing. It was spotless, there were plenty of beds and towels. You can literally ski down to the Stagecoach lift if there is enough snow. There were so many extras ... food, condiments, sandwich bags, wrap, dishwashing detergent, laundry soap, trash bags. All the little things you forget and then have to run to the store for ... were already there!
The owner Matt was a dream. We had a scare and thought a kid was injured and we might need to get in to the condo early. He worked with us to get in while the housekeepers were finishing up. Everything ended up fine, but we really appreciated his willingness to work with us. He literally texted me back within minutes.
The only thing renters need to be aware of is the stairs. You have to go down a set of pretty scary stairs to get to the condo. Honestly if you are in shape to ski, it's no big deal.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Ski Week at this condo and will not hesitate to rent again!

Great Ski Condo
Stayed at Matt's condo with my family for a quick ski vacation. Communication is great with Matt and check-in couldn't have been easier. We were even offered early check-in at no charge although we weren't getting in until later anyway, but that's rare and nice of him. 4 full bedrooms, two with two beds along with a futon downstairs. Great for slightly older kids, but the spiral staircase is a little scary with a two year old. The condo is clean and nicely finished and is on a hill facing the Stagecoach lift. If there was more snow you could ski out the front porch down to the street and hop over to get to the Stagecoach run. We didn't have much snow so we just walked down the street and hopped on. Not a bad walk at all. Two notes: 1. The property is on a steep hill. You park and then walk down a huge staircase to get down to the property. This really isn't that big of a deal to young, fit people. However, it would be a deal breaker for older people. Really only inconvenient when you are bringing your luggage in an out, or when bringing groceries home. 2. The temperature is controlled by a thermostat on the main level of the condo. The downstairs is always significantly colder than the upstairs. This is made worse if you start a fire upstairs as it heats the upstairs more, satisfies the temp on the thermostat and the regular heat doesn't run at all. The downstairs rooms need radiant heaters so they can be controlled independently. Not really a huge problem for me as I like it cooler to sleep. My wife was not thrilled. The Stagecoach area is about a 20 minute drive down the mountain into town and nobody delivers food there yet (Domino's doesn't anymore either), so plan on driving for meals and stocking up at Safeway for groceries (open 24hrs btw :) Fox and the Hound is on the mountain a couple of minutes away and good, quick food. Overall good property with a great owner.

Heavly
We had a wonderful time at the house. Very clean, lots of towels, and enough space for all. the owner is correct there are a lot of stairs to reach the condo, but well maintained. Snowed the night we arrived and the walkways were shoveled by 10am the following day.

Cozy Mountain House
Positives
-Great communication from the owner.
-There are 3 televisions so the kids and adults have options for space but it still feels cozy.
-The owner decorates for the holiday which adds to the comfort.
-Close to Heavenly chairlift.
-Beautiful updated master bathroom downstairs.
The only thing I would suggest is offering a service to help unload/load luggage when arriving and departing. The stairs are a big obstacle especially because of the weather and ski boots.
