Samudra Beach Chalet

The accommodation was beautiful and smelled lovely. The food at the restaurant was also very good.

I would have appreciated having more power outlets in the room, as there was only one.

The location and the price

The room had mould on the walls

If you book the " family room sea view" option, this is one of the best mid range places on this beach. There are 6 units and they were pretty new. There is two beds and a small fridge. The hot water works and there is good water pressure. Beds had new mattresses with mattress toppers. The other mid range "resorts" on this beach are pretty old and run down. Yes there are ants and other unwanted insects. Its to be expected in a single story hotel room so close to the jungle. There were also monitor lizards that lived in a lagoon 50 meters away. Just take precautions (dont eat inside your room). The Samudra restaurant takes credit card. So does the Fauna restaurant further down the beach.

There is no safe in the room Wifi only in the restaurant (so get a malaysian esim or a tourist sim card on maxis or the celecomdigi network) Hotel doesn't did not laundry on site during our stay

Die Lage direkt am Strand ist hervorragend. Wir hatten 5 wunderschöne Tage. Das Famielenchalet ist von der Größe vollkommen ausreichend, da man eh die meiste Zeit am Strand oder beim Schnorcheln verbringt.

Die Matratzen wie auch die Bettwäsche haben bereits bessere Zeiten gesehen. D
